A MUST TRY !This awesome restaurant sources most of its food locally which makes the plates super fresh and unique. Pasta was out of this world ! Wonderful flavors and nice ambiance.
Had a wonderful meal here recently. Hands-down one of the best restaurants in Bay Ridge. The chef is insanely talented, and the server, Delaney, provides wonderful hospitality! Leisurely pace, but worth it.
Birthday dinner with one of my closest friends.At the quaint little umm I think its a Bistro? Called Beets and CarrotsStart with the House made black bread with carrot butter and marmalade. The carrot butter is sooo good.Then other a Russia borscht with beef; great flavor very fresh and honestly didn't even need the beef but I like meat.Then the cauliflower cooked in brown butter, anchovy and egg. Personally I would have preferred an egg with a runny yolk but omg the cauliflower is divine!And my friend @graceinspace_n7 have the duck and I the half roasted chicken.Both perfectly delicious entrees but honestly that cauliflower stole the showAnd we finished off with the Beets and Carrot cake with Beets and carrot ice cream; you really taste the carrott sweetness in the ice cream.Do yourself a favor and support a local small business. Dine at Beets and Carrots.Oh my friend told me they have a wonderful brunch as well I will have to return.
I Came in for brunch and truly loved the food. My berry French toast was delicious and the seasonal menu and spring drink selection was spectacular. Highly recommend the blue matcha! Love the fresh farm to table feel of this place. The service is wonderful and you can tell the staff really cares about customer satisfaction. This place is a hidden gem! I’d give them ten stars if I could. Seriously, don’t walk, run to Beets and Carrots.Update: dinner is also heavenly!
Absolutely phenomenal! I loved the dish. It was a daily special called a Spinach Prosciutto Pasta. The flavor was amazing especially the prosciutto. I also ordered the beets and carrot ice cream and cake. Presentation was there but the flavor wasn’t as good as the main dish. The ice cream was great though. Also received an order of fries and they were perfectly cooked and salted to perfection.
The food was simply Outstanding! The service was very congenial and friendly. But oh my goodness the food!
