Always a wonderful experience dining at Bedawi Cafe! The food is always amazing, flavorful, and fresh!
So glad this place was able to open back up. Amazing salad, chicken, and falafel,all well priced, and the service was great and welcoming. Will have to revisit soon.
This little restaurant is tucked away on Prospect park West, a block beyond where most tourists and visitors go, and looks so modest from the outside that it is rarely crowded, though it does a brisk take-out trade for local people in the know. The inside is small with a few tables but they have just opened a charming rear garden. Burt you go here for the food -- everything is freshly made from scratch and incredibly delicious. Portions are generous and it is the best place for vegan/vegetarian dining that I know in Park Slope -- unpretentious, relaxed and pretty ambience (especially in the garden), and with an absolutely knowledgeable person in the kitchen.
Always order an extra pita.
My wife and I love the soup and salads, and the freshly baked pita. We never tire of the variety of flavors. But , it's not just the great food that makes Bedawi so special. It's the friendly, reliable service, and obvious care that goes into every aspect of the business. During the pandemic Yusef made the effort to improve the decor, and added grocery items to the front area which made dropping in for just a few minutes a memorable experience. Bedawi was our go-to takeout restaurant for the last two years, turning hard times into good times. We're truly grateful, and will continue in our support.
For wholesome, delicious food created with a lot of care, stop by here on your way home. Few places create such a complex mezze platter imbued with so much flavor: lemony potatoes, savory spinach and chickpeas, hearty bulgur and creamy baba ganoush that is truly eggplant-forward. They top it all with the crispiest fried onion; it deserves to be sold like chips. Service is exemplary; so genuine and warm. Add to your list for takeout; you won’t regret it.
Soooooo Gooooood! My favorite are the following: stuff grapes; chicken pizza; hummus with pita bread… It’s always fresh… Cooked well… Savory… Tasteful… My mouth waters with the chicken pizza… I can’t have enough of it… Such a great place to order from… Customer convenience… Attentive service

No flavor whatsoever.Flavorless food = Waste of Money.Staff at Bedawi please learn to flavor your food. Maybe you forgot to add flavor today but that hurts your customers palates.Otherwise I cannot recommend. I feel cheated, its as if you took my hard earned money and had me eat flavorless calories.90% of the food went in the garbage. The food mixed with other trash in the receptacle will accumulate more flavor then before.
This place is a gem! The food is delicious with fresh ingredients and the perfect level of spice and seasoning. The staff is also super nice. On top of all of that, it's incredibly affordable.
