The food was really good and servers are nice. But we sad one of them cleaning someone else’s table only with a napkin and our table was very sticky. They should clean the tables better after people eat. But again the food was delish.
My husband and I have been coming to this place for few years now because they have hands down the best tasting burgers. However, in the recent visits we have noticed that the menu keeps changing. We always love to order the same exact burgers and sweet potato fries. When we visited the location today we noticed that the burger menu had different combos and each burger was a double patty (which makes the portion size huge and we ended up eating only one patty and throwing the other ). I asked the waitress about this and she was kind enough to explain these changes but it just doesn’t make sense to change the menu rather often when people love this place for their favorite items. Otherwise we always have enjoyed our visit to this restaurant.
Fries w/ aoli + chicken buffalo + Rose was 36$ excluding tip. The food is great and always has been, but I waited maybe almost 40 minutes for my food. Be prepared to wait, they’re probably understaffed for the demand. My waiter was great. It’s just leveraging customer times plus high spike in prices isn’t great.
I haven't been to Bareburger in a long while, so while I was in Brooklyn and needing some sustenance, I decided to go get some lunch. I ordered the Matador, which I've had before and my new favorite. I ordered medium rare and dill pickles. The customer service was excellent and took my order right away. The food was delicious as usual. Only "complaint" was that it wasn't cooked medium rare. I should have ordered rare, my fault, but they should try to get it cooked for the customers request.
Had both veg burgers Guadalupe and sweet dreams. Well baked sprouted buns. Guadalupe was bit dry if you are not dipping it in ketchup, but the taste was great. Sweet dreams had well fried sweet potato patty with a green sauce on top which was amazing.
Overall, good burgers, horrible service. The burgers are pretty good for a Brooklyn restaurant, they're juicy and incredibly tender and good. The sauces are the best part because they make their own sauces such as chipotle mayo and bunch more. The service is horrible because their restaurant is always crowded, slow and constantly forgets components of your order, for us this has happened numerous times. Good for a quick bite when not crowded, not worth it when too crowded.
The highlight for me was the burger. You’ll find the prices very affordable for what you’re getting both in the selection and the customizable build your own burger they offer. Their sides were great as well. There’s outdoor seating too. Service was a bit too slow even though there weren’t many customers so do be aware of that.
I genuinely adore the gluten-free bun they have here. It’s the best I’ve ever had, and frankly I wish I could buy them at stores. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a great and customizable burger experience with consistently top tier ingredients!
EDITED. This review is not for the food quality or service. My $100 Bareburger gift card was denied at this location. The reason: their system was updated a while ago and currently is not able to read old gift cards. I contacted BB through the website but did not receive a response for 2+ weeks. Unfortunately I had to leave this review and to use Facebook in order to get attention and the issue to be resolved.
The burgers are always so good, and holy ship the Asiago fries !!! Yummmm. The original is great, highly recommend getting a side of the Asiago fries though. Happy hour was nice, they had a half off bottle of wine as well as discounts during happy hour for beer and wine.
