Delicious food in a fun environment. Great service and beautiful presentation. Steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend

This beautiful surprise is just waiting around the corner from a busy Brooklyn street, offering a quiet and tasty reprieve from big city life. The ambiance here is super chill with modern decor. The food here is amazing with classic Italian dishes as well as some new trendy ones. While eating you can enjoy the sunlight as it penetrates the tall glass windows and view fresh dough being kneading and shaped. My suggestions are the pasta and soups all off them, they all are sublime. Wether you’re new to the area or just looking for some good vibes for lunch, do your self a favor and stop on by!!!

I accidentally screwed up my pickup order and the staff was amazing. They quickly fixed my mistake and the food was phenomenal. Squid ink taglierini was bursting with flavor. Salad was great. Ambiance is awesome so I’ll be coming by again soon.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, interesting cocktails and great great great service. I love this place very much. No matter what you order, you can be sure that everything will be cooked to perfection.

We went for lunch on a Saturday, the fried calamari was in our table within a few minutes. Very good texture and seasoning. I had the squid ink sea food pasta and my husband the ravioli of the day that was beef and pork. Both plates were really really good in taste and overall good value. Will come back ??

Pasta cooked to perfection! Seriously. We also tried the frittata with mushrooms and a nice butter lettuce salad to round things out. The excellent food is matched by the service.?Great place to dine if you’re in the area.

In terms of what Brooklyn has to offer, Barbalu is a solid mid-level experience. The pastas are tasty but the flavors are blended, making most ingredients lose their identity. The profiteroles are definitely worth having but the other desserts are not as impressive.I would place this as a 4.5 star in the US average if Italian restaurants, but it needs something more to be a 4 star in Brooklyn or NYC.Note: I have not tried the pizza.

excellent produce. Real salad and eggs made to perfection. Home made bread that was to die for. Quite a discovery.

+ outdoor seating+ good food+ Menu specials- cherry in old fashion ?Great place for a local outing with friends. The only downside side is that is a bit expensive. I completely understand the situation and all but the prices in this area should not be Manhattan prices.I will definitely come back for pizza

One the best restaurants I have ever attended in all of New York City. They have fantastic customer service, and the food is terrific. The pizza is one of the best, and I highly recommend the pasta. If you are thinking of going, definitely go!!
