Best bahn mi I’ve ever had! This one is the grilled pork.
Solid, quick, affordable sandwiches (though fyi have only gotten the tofu one)
Edit: i got so severely sick after eating this. I had diarrhea and vomiting all dayPork banh mi was awesome. If it had a little bit of cilantro & jalapeños it would be pretty perfect imoI ordered medium spicy which i didnt find spicy at all (my spice tolerance is average). Will def try the spicier version next time
Great portions, great quality, good price. Our go-to Vietnamese takeout place. The rice dishes are fantastic comfort food, and I've been ordering that quart of pickled carrot and daikon to liven up my own cooking. Not the fanciest place, but absolutely reliable and totally delicious. Good, honestly take out that will fill you up and leave you satisfied and happy.
After trying a few different bahn mi places in Brooklyn I was so excited to find a reliably good one. The bread is perfect and the sandwiches are always well made.
The banh mi are amazing (grilled chicken is my go to)! And the rice vermicelli salad is also amazing!
7/10 - tofu banh mi too much Mayo. Tofu itself was unmemorable. No texture or flavor. Bread was well toasted but general flavors, filling and ingredient distribution was meh.
Just mediocre sandwiches. The toppings were all mashed to one side and the other side had the meat. It meant that some bites were only meat, which was pretty plain and boring, and the other bite would be tasty but meatless. Shredded chicken is rather boring. Would be great if it was marinated.
I did not have a good experience here. The food was fine, though I had too much mayo on my sandwich. It was certainly not worth waiting a half hour in a cramped space.
Bad bread toasted to hide the quality, mediocre ground pork. The highlight was the pickled carrots, so that saved the sandwich but i won't be back.
