Appreciate responding to the 1-star so here's more info. When someone asks for a cold brew, but you don't have cold brew, just tell them it's iced coffee so they know whether or not to buy it. I'll always come back for the bagels, though.
The bagels are delicious and so is the tofu cream cheese. The staff was nice.But......almost $40 for 7 bagels and 2 half pound containers of tofu cream cheese yikes!!!! This isn't the corner of Madison Avenue its Metropolitan...get a grip.
The bagel sandwiches are delicious! The Nutella latte was also very good! The cashier terrifies me. She's rude as hell and looks like she hates me.
Bacon, Egg and Cheese on Everything Bagel is the way to go!
We ordered online and not a single sandwich was how we asked for it to be. Asked for our sandwiches to not be toasted, all 3 came toasted. Asked for a turkey egg and cheese with salt pepper ketchup, it came with ham and no SPK. We asked for lettuce to be added to the third sandwich and didnt receive any. Mind you, all of this is written down. By default they make their egg sandwiches with just one egg, we asked for three eggs on one of the sandwiches, we barely even received two. Why would I want to pay $5+ for an egg sandwich with almost no egg… Their prices are horrible for what you’re getting. You’re better off buying the bagels and fixing it up at home. The bagels alone are great and the store location is convenient but I’d rather walk a few extra blocks to somewhere that’ll make my sandwich the way I’m paying for it to be.
For the price and lack of customer service, save your time and money going here. Online order wasn’t ready 20 mins after it said it was ready and they didn’t seem to care. The woman at the front register was rude and then essentially slammed my order on the counter when it was ready. Awful customer service for a mediocre bagel. You lost a customer, Bagel Smith. Too many other good bagel shops in the area to waste your time here.
Terrible customer service inside the deli and beyond unbearable. Their breakfast food is subpar and you can find better places than this. Not worth going here with so many other bodegas and coffee shops.
Bagels! Some of the best bagels I’ve ever had! Probably THE best now that I think about it. Either way, you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly staff you place your order, you eat your bagel and you’re happy. Pretty much that simple
I have 0 idea why everyone on here is complaining, after reading the reviews I was 50:50 but I’m glad I stopped by and tried it out . I got lox spread on garlic bagel and it’s yummy ,toasted, and the service was quick , I wanted to find a spot near my barbershop for a fast breakfast I’m glad I tried it out ! Thanks guys
Waisted 20min here. Ordered a bagel, waited for 10min+, followed up couple of times and finally it was figured out my order was not processed at all. Cashier lady forgot to tell that to the kitchen. I just canceled, get my cash back and left there. Nobody apologized.
