Extremely rude workers. The door was still open and the guy behind the counter yelled can't you see we are closed? Um no, the door was open. He continued to talk with attitude when I simply responded that the door was open. Anyway, long story short, first and last time stepping into that store.
Our dog's favorite bagel place in all of Brooklyn and her owners like it plenty as well. They have weekly specials posted outside that are consistently good. The order window is a convenient feature that all people with their dogs and babies appreciate.
Bagel World is my favorite spot for bagels in the neighborhood. Great bagels, friendly courteous staff. Sometimes the wait is a little long, but trust that the staff is working at full speed to take and make your order. Tip: call your order in a few minutes before walking over.
They’re fine. The spreads are very fresh. But the two times I came here recently with my husband, they got our orders wrong - wrong cream cheese on one bagel both times.

Waited 15 minutes after ordering and no bagel sandwich -- I thought it was weird people behind me got their food before me, but I figured they had something simpler. A couple at the register had a chat with the guys behind the counter since they forgot something in their order, which prompted me to ask about mine. Turns out they literally forgot about my order. To their credit, they made my order in just a few more minutes. The bagel was okay, but honestly there are other places in the city with better bagels and better service.
Love this place, when I lived in Park Slope it was my go-to place for breakfast. Great bagels and awesome service!
