Definitely nothing authentic!! What a waste of $50. Do NOT ever order here again, I tell myself. The cold noodles were about the worst I have ever had in my life -- like Chef Boyardi
The quality has fallen off a steep cliff
Super reliable and great menu. If you want orange chicken go to a takeout place.
Terrible place. I got serious food poisoning right after eating there orange chicken. Food is tasteless. They lowered the heat when we were there. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
Foods okay but sometimes they take your order and never deliver
Despite the name this place is no where close to actual Sichuan food. Most chicken dishes are heavily breaded and some have zero meat. Deep fried dishes in rancid oil.
The flavors in this restaurant were amazing. Every meal and side dish we picked was the absolute best we've eaten of that type, and we've eaten a lot of Chinese food -- not only in the States, but also in Hong Kong and China. Be happy, people of Brooklyn, they deliver, too!
My Park Slope favorite for its spicy, herby, or lamby/fishy "House Specialties" and "Chef's Special" dishes like fish-filet casseroles with chili or wild-pepper sauce, tea-smoked duck, triple-pepper chicken, or stir-fries cooked dry-pot or cumin style. Lots of spicing. The pork or pork/crab juicy buns are big and doughy and bland, without the delicacy of wrapping and intensity of flavor of true xiao long bao. Sample from those other two menu sections instead.
Being vegetarians, this is our go-to for fake meats. As I understand it, they make them in-house - but they are so flavoursome! Can't recommend this place enough. We live a few doors down and got lucky with this place. Try to eat here at least once a month!
Me, my son, my daughter-in-law and my grandson got carry out here. Unbelievably good. Maybe the best Asian food I’ve ever had. I had garlic pineapple chicken. So good it melts in your mouth. My son had curry chicken and he loved it. Everything we had was great, Spivey and to die for.
