The food was absolutely delicious. The server was so wonderful and so wonderful and pleasing. She tried to make sure all of our needs were taking care of. Is that damn hostess I'd like to strangle. Why would you seat us next to the bathroom?
Few things annoy me at a restaurant more than rounding down my change, especially if its nearly $0.50. I'm usually a big tipper, but when you round down my change I round down your tip. Food was decent, service wasn't horrible, but a little below average.
As for the server, she was really attentive. But a fight broke out. It became chaotic. I felt really bad for the large family that were sitting where the fight took place. There were little kids at that table. Once I saw someone holding a chair up in the air as if they were about to throw it, I made sure I hauled up out of there.
I waited ten minutes to give a server my order. I ordered a chicken soup. It took over ten minutes to have it at my booth. THE SOUP WAS ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY NOTHING BUT BROTH WITH THREE SMALL SMALL PIECES OF CHICKEN AND NO VEGETABLES OR NOODLES. I NEEDED TO EAT SOMETHING BC OF MY HEALTH. I WAS CHARGED 5.99$ PLUS TAX FOR A NOTHING. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NEVER EAT AT THAT APPLEBEE'S ON FULTON ST. IN BEDSTUY EVER AGAIN. DISGUSTED TO SAY IT MILDLY.
First time here,;The host was polite sat down,Area was dirty ,smh.I had to get up to get service..then the food came.it was acceptable until we got the boneless chicken bite,;It had a Hair in the Honey pepper chicken bites..So Terrible..The waitress exchange..But never said sorry or took anything off the Bill..My first and last time..oh the food was Bland as shhh.lawd..They Need New Management Badly..
If I could give this place ZERO stars I 100% would. Me my son and my husband went to eat here last night. We waited over an hour JUST TO GET DRINKS. The waiter was no where to be found. We saw him maybe 3 times if that we were left sitting at the table with nothing for an hour. After an hour the waiter brought us our drinks and took our order. It took an hour and a half close to 2 hours to get our food mind you the place was EMPTY. By the time they brought our food it was cold and dry and they handed us plastic utensils claiming they ran out of silverware but I was everyone around us had silverware except us. My son was left without a drink for an hour I gave him my drink. I also ordered the Mac n cheese for my son and it came out in a bag like it was just thrown in a microwave and I was excepted to open the extremely hot Mac and cheese bag so my baby can it. The manager came he wasn’t very interactive he gave off a “I don’t care” attitude. This place needs to be shut down. All the waiters look like a bunch of high school kids which is fine thats not the problem they just all looked lost. ZERO stars don’t eat here you will be setting yourself up to just be upset and frustrated if you eat here !
I got serloin steak and cajun salmon. I asked for medium well steak and it came well done. My husband got the whiskey burger and asked for the sauce on the side but it was added to the burger. We also ended up getting bottled water given that the cups were dirty. The only thing we liked was the waitress we had. I would not recommend this place.
I’ve ate here before and the staff are wonderful but recently had a very sour encounter w the manager. I ordered off the 2 for $24 but I didn’t mention that to the waitress. I ASKED if it could be adjusted and that it’s fine if it can’t.. didn’t hurt to try. My boyfriend could see the manager acting belligerent and he then approached us angrily with another employee saying he heard we wanted to dispute the bill. I calmly told him what I told the waitress and that the bill wasn’t a problem. He proceeds to calm down and try to smooth things over and saying he had to bring the other other employee cause it’s policy. He is very rude and doesn’t know how to treat customers. We had no problem with the bill just asked a question and I do not like the way we were treated by the MANAGER! The waitress was a gem but that manager would make me not want to eat there. I will be making a complaint to corporate.
This place is only good for the drinks and appetizers, their food is not seasoned I even asked the waitress what was going on and she told me the only thing seasoned on my plate was the salmon and it was only seasoned with salt and pepper. So no.
For such a small place the service was quick and staff was friendly. I saved the best for last they serve beer!
