Haitian food is delicious but not at this restaurant. I ordered the Legume and I couldn’t eat it. It was gross!! And they’re Akra….OMG, like how can you make bad Akra?? But they did!! Fat pieces and just gross!! I took two or three bites of what I ordered and just couldn’t suffer through it, so ended up throwing it away. I felt bad because I hate to throw away food. But it was just so bad! I don’t think it’s a Haitian person cooking, because there’s no way it should taste that bad!!
Okay so I had the black rice aka diri Djon Djon and the fried pork aka grio. First thing first I’m Haitian this food is not authentic Haitian food!! The rice was terrible taste like they used basmati rice and the pork really had 0 to none flavor.I was very disappointed. I guess this is as good as it’s going to get in bedstuy Brooklyn.anyone looking for good authentic Haitian food like your mom and grandma there are a lot of gems in east flatbush Brooklyn.. I can name 5 of the top of my head….

Soo good!! This the second time I ordered from them. This is turkey, it was so juicy and well seasoned I thought it was griot lol. The last time I got chicken and same thing. The food is cleaned well, and seasoned well. I’m so shocked because it’s hard to get good Haitian food in this area but they really have great food and great portions ! Delivery is a little long so try to order in advance, my only complaint? I wish they were open Sundays!
Extremely inaccurate delivery time on their website. I placed an order and it took nearly two hours for it to arrive.I live 4 blocks away (a 5 minute walk) but I’m stuck at home with Covid so I placed it for delivery. I called to check on my order and the man was extremely rude. as one service worker to another, either change your delivery times or be transparent.

The portions are tiny and the stew turkey is quite chewy/dry/not well stewed..the flavor is good tho
