The food is decent but the service was terrible. After ordering I realized the amount charged was too much. After explaining that the amount was more than the costs listed on the menu and the website, I was given no explanation or change - just told it was more. When I asked for an itemized receipt (I paid cash to avoid the credit surcharge) I was told I couldn't be given one and that "in 3 years, no one ever asked for one" .
Best burger and milkshakes. The best thing is that if you order delivery, the fries are still magically crispy!
Best burger in NYC, hands down!! We make the trek over from the UWS a few times a year and always stop when in the area.
DELICIOUS BURGER! I lived in this neighborhood for a year and it's my first time trying them. I'm so mad at myself that I didn't give them a try. The burger is very juicy! The meat, bread, and the toppings are amazing. This is way better than $20 to $30+ burgers in fancy restaurants. I'm a very picky person when it comes to food, but this place is gonna be my favorite. Def the best burger place in Kensington! Also, the guy taking the order was very nice and kind.
The quality of the food is now not good. The guys working in the store eat in the store and make the food at the same time. I spent 50 dollars on 2 burgers fries and a shack. Andrew I won’t be back again sorry.
Excellent, authentic burgers just how I like them: Unpretentious and allowing the meat to shine. I found the prices reasonable for the quality of the product, despite many reviews to the contrary. This will be a go-to spot for me.
Pretty solid double with caramelized onions and bacon (Signature Burger). Fries were great. On par with Steak N’ Shake or McDonald’s style, but a little more sturdy and definitely not as over salted as those other two spots. I also had the Andrew’s Chix Sandwich and it was great. No frills, just a great chicken sandwich with pickles and minimal extraneous toppings. My only gripe would be the prices. They are a bit high for what you get (fries should be $2-$3 at most), but I will definitely be going back. ??
Don’t bother with their egg creams. Not nearly enough chocolate and wouldn’t correct their error.
Haven’t had one of these burgers since the food truck in Walgreens parking lot, so it was time to try again. Such a disappointment… burgers were dry, fries were soggy, shakes were good but pretty small. 3 burgers, 3 fries, 3 shakes = $85.00!!!!! When I asked for a credit card receipt, I was told no and the guy walked away from me. Never, ever again. For that price I can have a burger and fries at Peter Luger!!!
The food here is average. The prices are not equivalent to its quality in my opinion. The person who took my order couldnt understand english and because of his language barrier it made this experience not as pleasant.
