How come “amazing, friendly, attentive staff” isn’t among the available tags? Oh, and: awesome trivia night!

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. We sat on the rooftop for dinner and it's covered which was great as it rained on & off. We have David and Reya (not sure how to spell her name) as our servers. They were absolutely delightful. A++++++ service & food. Great recommendations. Food was ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING!!! Got a variety of items. Drinks were great. View is great. Atmosphere is great. Go here if your thinking about it.

It makes me sad to write this review. ALMA was one of my favorite places to go when we were celebrating or when I had friends from out of town. - this was about 9 years ago.Today I was in Red Hook and decided to revisit. The staff was friendly enough but the menu was lacking. They had apps, like mushrooms and cheese, Guacamole or chips with salsa. No decent salads, no maduros or tostones. I ordered the special, Duck. There was nothing special about it. Toughest meat I've ever had (pork. Beef or chicken) and that was alarming for duck. My daughter ordered the habanero short ribs tostada and though she loves spicy, there was no other flavor but heat. Same with the rack of short ribs, spicy and bland. Cheesy rice, bland. But the real kicker were the drinks. My daughter ordered a ginger ale and it came in a tumbler glass w ice. That was like 1/2 a can of soda for $4!!! They use to be served in a pint glass. Between my husband, 7yr old daughter and I, we spent $140 and this was painful considering how awful the food was. If you have $140 to throw in the garbage, do it. They still have a pretty good view of Manhattan. But if you want to spend your money on a delicious dinner, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. You're not going to impress anyone by bringing them here... deeply disappointed. I feel hustled

Super amazing trading platform, easy to use and quick withdrawal. I have been using this platform together with the most recommended forex strategy on the internet from Chris Crypto and so far i have no complains, making close to $7000 just with minimum of $500 weekly basis. He is really great, i am thankful and want you all to invest with him too Contact him via WhatsApp:+1(213)568‑6030 Email:[email protected]

Love this place. The food is amazing and the view to the city is absolutely beautiful. The sunset is everytjing at this location. Love the atmosphere and staff . The roof top is my favorite.

Wonderful wonderful service. Very friendly staff and good food. We sat on the rooftop and enjoyed the views. Drivers, parking was available on the street but do give yourself a few extra minutes to find a decent spot.We ordered Short ribs (nice sized portion), ceviche and a shrimp dish. Simple menu with quality food. A wide variety of Mezcal here. I wasn't a fan of the one I tried. Hand sanitizer at every table. Clean bathrooms as well.

We went to the rooftop. Rooftop and restaurant have 2 different menus?!? Drinks were tasty. Service was ok one server was far better than the other. Food was tasty...I noticed all 6 of our plates were empty. I had the short rib enchilada. Very very good ? Lastly, roof top view of lower Manhattan looked like a painting. Would go again!

*WARNING TO ALL* This place is one of the most overrated spots in downtown Brooklyn. To start, there are completely different menus for the rooftop and sidewalk that come with their own different prices for the same exact dishes. My group of 3 ate at the rooftop and the whole atmosphere was so dark we had to use our phone flashlights to see anything (we're not hard of sight). The food was mediocre at best and the margaritas we ordered were $16 for not even a regular sized glass (sidewalk bar does pitcher sized for $14). They tried to butter us up by saying the 3 sauces they included with our entree were "on the house" which was a nice touch until you literally hear them say that to every single table around you. This whole place screams scam and ripoff at every turn. They don't even have authentic and original Spanish food items on the menu that you would typically expect. The side dishes are laughable in portion and do little combined with the poor presentation and taste of your selected entree. Even the basic service of eating at a restaurant and staff asking "how is your meal/how is everything" doesn't happen at this restaurant. It is an awful shame and would not consider taking friends/family/date or even to pickup/take out from here. I'm writing this in depth review literally minutes after just eating there and paying a WAY overpriced bill for what we experienced there. Will NEVER RETURN HERE. BE WARNED!!!!!!!!

Delicious foods , great place to enjoy with family and friends. Margarita's was amazing.?????
