My first time here and I immediately saved it on my maps for future visits. I ordered the pork buns and a seafood salad to which I sadly ate too quickly and didn't take pics. The Ramen however.... Amazing. I ordered the deluxe and wow! What a delicious bowl of ramen! Not to mention the staff here are so friendly and the decor of the restaurant is so beautiful. They also have a stocked bar and two pool tables upstairs! Definitely make your way here and treat yourself!
My dad and I love this restaurant. He calls the oyster shooters a "religious experience." The oysters are always fresh. (I've been here six or seven times.) They have a wide selection of drinks. The server/bartender is amazing and makes fantastic cocktails like the sunrise martini, Ajimi mule, and Sweet Midnight. Also highly recommend the skewers, pork buns, fries, dumplings, and ramen as well (if you like chicken broth and brothless spicy ramen).
Great place for a ramen fix!! Tantan is spicy and with a perfect broth. Also draft sapporo in a icy mug for $5??! Love it. Get the spicy edamame for a twist. Yakitori stuff was on key, especially the pork belly! Squid and octopus must have too. Polite staff and prompt service made it easy for family of 6. Reasonable prices for everything. Been back a few times already!
This new place right off the 18 ave train station is very good. I tried the classic and it was great. The raw onion in the broth gave it a unique taste. The sides were also great. The place is huge and clean. They really put in a lot of effort!
The roast garlic oil is insanely good. Can happily say we finally have a great ramen spot in the area now. The skewers were also very delicious. Highly recommend people to try this spot.
Great location for a new ramen shop. I live in the area and have waited for this restaurant to open since around the beginning of the pandemic. My husband and I went for lunch on a weekday and ordered a miso ramen, tantan ramen, chicken & squid skewer, and pork buns. Both ramens had semi-raw onions cubed into the soup, there was no option to customize toppings or ramen shape/level of doneness. However, both bowls of ramen were done just right. I would recommend the spicy tantan over the miso as the soup was much better and the ramen had some sort of sesame paste on it and made it really delicious. Chicken skewer was nice and juicy, squid was kind of fishy. Pork buns I would not compare to Ippudo, much more dry and tasted just alright. The restaurant had an overall nice vibe, polite staff. Just a few side notes:- Restaurant only accepts cash.- Only option for hot tea on a cold winter day is their hot organic tea which costs $3 per cup. Otherwise you are served iced water.- Staff did not check vaccination cards if that is something you are concerned with.
Ordered the Ajimi Tantan ramen (with the spicy broth), and it was good overall. Spice level was mild, nothing exciting about it. Also got the Spicy Garlic Edamame, Mixed Fries, along with other dishes. They were all good, nothing to complain about. The ramen itself was okay, to say the least, a bit “hard”, but not difficult to chew through, although next time, I would ask them to cook the noodles a bit longer. The atmosphere was excellent as well, not busy at all, since they just opened. Overall, the experience was great! This is not “authentic” Japanese ramen, to say the least, but suitable, if you are looking for comfort food. I would come back another time because I would love to try their other dishes!
This place is Great! Excellent Ramen, the soup base has a rich flavor, the Pork belly was so tender and flavorful. The noodles has a perfect texture and the egg was perfectly cook. Service is Prompt and staff are friendly. The place is cute and cozy. Good spot to hang out! Would definitely recommend!
First time visit this location on 1.24.2022. Convenient cause it’s near 18ave D train station and easy to find parking. Environment is nice, food is presentable and good. First time trying ramen with chicken broth, not bad. Service is great and I will visit again. Always supporting small business. Currently only accepting cash.
First of all, the manners of the host/waiter was soooooo nice and polite that it was unbelievable. I was honestly shocked but that's a first. The food was very yummy. I went during the soft opening so not all the food I wanted to try were available yet. Food accommodations were perfection for food allergies. Skewers were flavorful, appetizers are a good size and ramen was great. Would def return once all the items are available.
