? The best Detroit style pizza I’ve ever had (square pizza)? I ordered the pepper trio and the cheese. Highly recommend both. Loved how cheesy the cheese was. More of a sit down but casual vibe. Come hungry!
Things we said whilst eating this food..."I knew it was good before I finished my first bite!""I've finally found a pepperoni pizza with the volume of pepperoni I deserve!"Simply put... Amazing deep dish pizza with generous toppings. We also got a Greek salad to feel "healthy" and that was also good.All in all a great meal well worth a visit.
First place after landing from the UK was here as it was right by our hotel. The best slice we had the whole trip, which is saying something cos New York offers so much. Amazing buffalo wings too. Nice staff and good service. See you next time!
Very fun design with board games etc. The Detroit pizzas are delicious and portions are generous. Great for groups as well.
Tried the Meat Lover’s and Buffalo Chicken pizza. Absolutely love the flavors of both. Crispy and well finished. 80’s vibe is spot on. Enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. Look forward to going back soon. Friendly and engaging staff. Overall, a great Detroit Style right in Brooklyn.
this place is so yum! the dough is delicious, sauce is flavorful, and the cheese pull you get here is kind of ridiculous. that mushroom pizza made me shed a tear it was so good. a very fun vibe and great for a wholesome date or group dinner!
Way better than Emmy Squared. Enjoyed the pepperoni and buffalo chicken. A “half square” is plenty for one, maybe even two people if you’re not crazy hungry.
This was an amazing experience. The Detroit style pizza is to die for. We indulged ourselves with the Pepper Trio and Pepperoni Grandma Style pizza , which is a thin crust with a crunch that will delight your tastebuds. Fast and friendly service was commendable. We definitely enjoy and you will, too!
Let’s get this out of the way, Ace’s pizza is dynamite. Detroit style pizza has become very popular in NYC recently and Ace’s is in the conversation for the best of it. Perfectly crispy bottoms with still chewy center, the dough is expertly crafted. I tried the pepperoni, meat lovers, 3 peppers & supreme and they are all worth an order. Best of all there is no shortage of toppings on top, which makes every bite equally delicious. I did try the Nashville hot wings and they were simply ok, so I’d recommend trying one of the other sauces. I‘ve loved Emmysquared for years, and Ace’s is right there in taste and quality. I highly recommend it!
Great Detroit Style pizza in a space with a great throwback 80s style. Both waiters were so friendly and chill. Had a small Detroit with half Pepper Trio and half Mushroom.
