While Katz is good - the staff isn’t. I was the only customer and the stood around talking to each other rather than making my order I stood there and watched them for almost 10 minutes not acknowledge me (my order) in favor of speaking to each other. Making a customer wait unnecessarily while you chit chat and are on your cellphones is unacceptable.

It was ok… I mean, the portion is good, the pastrami was also good but something was missing. The cashier was really friendly but the kitchen staff delivering the food seemed they were in a bad mood. Overall, it’s a fair price for the amount of delicious meat you get. It was the bread and the sauerkraut that didn’t convinced me.

I ordered the 1/2 sandwich with soup for $23. the food was okay, but i really lost interest in my food when i saw the amount of plastic for this small order. Everything was wrapped into plastic. Sometimes two or even three times… maybe it wouldnt be that expensive if you didnt spend all your money on plastic. Its 2022, be better.

Just wow. A pastrami with mustard blew my mind. Healthy portion size and incredible flavors!!!

The bad reviews made me a bit nervous but I'm glad I gave the Brooklyn location a shot. Pastrami sandwich was really delicious. Ordered pickup so I wouldn't have to wait

Not good. I’ve been to this place a few times and wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt but just can’t. The one in Manhattan is just a different level. This outpost doesn’t have a clue. Today I had a $27 brisket sandwich. That’s twenty seven dollars. I don’t mind paying that price but it better be really good. And it was terrible. They had bait and switched me over the counter with a fresh piece of brisket but the sandwich had been pre made…maybe the day before or even further back. It was dry and you could see where the meat had been stacked together and dried out where it wasn’t touching and then a grey color where it was touching. Just terrible. I thought Katz’s prided themselves on fresh cut sandwiches and this was anything but. The staff clearly don’t understand the brand. You can have all the branding and reputation you like but that reputation will get bashed if you don’t follow through. A complete waste of money and time. They need to work on this location!

My sis got me this as my welcome meal after an annoying missed flight and O did this hit home. The obvious pickle and pastrami pairing was o so good. The pastrami was so flavourful with a touch of fat and my heart skipped a beat. I ate the sandwich whole without hesitation. Would have to admit that this has and will forever be a staple of NY for me. Would recommend dining in for the hectic vibe that I was told and to get both pickles and cucumber as it is the best palate cleanser when you want to go back into the sandwich with a fresh start.

My order number is 692. I ordered a pastrami with fatty and mustard on the bread.I speak out my number and got the bag. But When I open the bag at home, what I got is a soda with some weird soup.I contacted the customer service, no body cares. The number is a number that no one picked. I need a refund, that is reasonable.

Of the six or so employees present while I was there, only one was wearing his mask. The person who took my order and the person who served it were both wearing theirs around their chin.Matzo balls are packaged inside the same pint as the soup, rendering just a few spoonfuls of broth. At $9 a pint, you should receive the full pint of soup. It is common practice at other restaurants and delis to package matzo balls separately from the soup since they are enormous and will displace most of the broth.Overall a very frustrating experience.

Horrible Pastrami. Thick cut chewy pastrami. Have had Katz’s many times at the original place, but the food from here was nowhere close.
