I don't even know why people are giving this place more than 2 stars.My friends and I were visiting NYC and decided have some fun and Karaoke. We call the establishment in advance to find out about pricing and we were told that it would cost $65/hour for a group of 4 people (that's how many people were in my group). We made sure to clarify that the $65 was for the entire group and the man on the phone confirmed. Fast forward to a few hours later as we are getting dressed to go to this place. One of my friends said she's been reading the reviews and it looks like a whole of people are unhappy with the pricing and service. We call the establishment again and this time it is a woman on the phone. We ask her to confirm pricing to us and she says that it is $65/hour for each person, we are REQUIRED to buy a min of 2 drinks, and we also have to give a 20% tip. We tell her that we called earlier that day and the man said all we would have to do is pay $65 for the entire group. She proceeds to say "I guess he was misinformed".This place has false advertising and I am glad for the people that were truthful with their reviews as it saved us from wasting our time and money at this establishment.
We had a room with access to a deck. Perfect for a good crowd. Drinks and food are decent. This is a place where the vibe is whatever you make it. I think if you are into karaoke or want to have a fun party, this is a good choice.
The whole experience is a good idea however they did a poor job. 1. It was $131 for 4 people for 1hr food included, waiter didn't come prepared to take order. 2. Order was given, we wrote it down and they still got it wrong and wasted our time, food was soso. 3. They were rude when we paid no ID was asked for, second time they demanded to see ID. 4. Music selection sucked and it was our first time and noone explained how it works. 5. After wasting most of our time they came back to tell us our time is up
I don't know What these Bad reviews are about, but I had soooooooooooooooo much fun!!!! The service was Great, the food and Drinks were Great!!! We used our phone to ply music cause we couldn't figure out how to work the TV ???. I'm definitely going to have my birthday party there on Halloween Amazing Time!!!!!
My wife and I love this place. You get a lot for your money. The drinks are not the best but they are strong. The food is really good though. If you like Asian cuisine.
The set up is gorgeous. The experience was ok. They didn't have much songs not even a happy birthday song. The song playing and the video attached to the song is weird lol. The drinks were weak. We had shots that taste like lemonade... they were pretty quick with the service. The food was a 6/10 .
Used to love going here, now I doubt we'll go back. They doubled the price and yes as people have stated automatically make you sign for a 20% tip. It gets worse unfortunately. You are greeted by a few hosts/servers and a couple watchful men in the background forcing you to sign a waiver stating they can fine you over $1000 if you bring in your own alcohol bottles. Then we were escorted to a room where your "time" begins even while deciding what to order and taking 20 min to figure out their non American overseas program that is not easy to find general American or Broadway songs. Then we got interrupted a few times that they couldn't do something for 1 one drink, they don't have that beer, they have no diet soda...they came in about 5 times between problems and order. So for the 6 songs we got to sort of sing in an hour, we were interrupted during almost every one and wasted almost half the time trying to work the system to find songs. Then told if we stay over an hour, we're automatically charged for 2 hrs . Terrible system, service, hospitality, consciousness of customer enjoyment...love turned to disgust at the selfishness stinginess. I don't know if the owners changed in the past couple years but shame on you, you're doing business the wrong way.
Overall we had fun....some consumer was on point....some were straight up rude.....not organize as we would have hope for...servers took orders without writing it down nor confirming the orders...which made a lot of missed orders and mistaks.... which we charged for and never recieved. Most drinks were watered down.....I asked for no ice...I recieved on the rocks...they dont listen very well either.....anyway....we still had fun with the music....
Filthy scammers. Absolutely disgusting rooms and even worse workers. They force you to pay 20% or more in tips and secretly charge more than the total. Went in for a session and was charged $220 for having empty liquor bottles in a bag which they did not ask to see prior. Constant peering into the rooms every 5 minutes. Workers will judge you and yell at you - forming a blockade at the entrance to the room so you are left to pay up.
Was a very nice experience, they have private rooms. However the there was no airflow and it gets stuffy in the rooms.
