This was our first time so I'll be fair as I'm an optimist and may give it another try in the future. The staff could have been a little more receptive and hospitable, so a little refresher training in customer service is in order. Overall, the food was on par and the service time was as expected. They did not have coffee to offer as the machines were not operable and they did not make any recommendations to help first-timers. I gave it try based on feedback from friends and expected more from the overall experience. It's worth a try but would need to see improvement to get repeat business from our family and friends.
I came here before and it was alright . This time around I have to say the disappointment was greater. I got here 7 mins after my reservation and was told they don’t have a grace period (this is NYC with NYC traffic .. if Eleven Madison Park, (fine dining restaurant in NYC has a 15 mins grace period , this little bistro in the Bx should too.)
Enjoyed a lovely dinner outdoors for our wedding anniversary at Yukka. Everything was delicious, the guacamole with fried queso Blanco, the bacalao croquettes, the empanadas.
Great place to dine with friends and family or even alone (I saw a couple of people doing so). The food and service was excellent The only negative thing is that the establishment charges credit card fees. I have never seen this before so I questioned it. I was told, no charges if paid with cash. The restaurant should warn patrons of this particular policy before reservations or place a warning in a place visible for customers so it is not a sticker shock when the bill comes. Other than that, I recommend this place.

Yukka Restaurant has a cozy environment. They has an area where you can have a small group party. They have table seating and an area of bar chair seating. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The menu selections were nicely presented and had a good taste profile. I would visit them again.
This is my 6th time enjoying this restaurant. I love the service, drinks, ambience, and food! This is one of my favorite restaurants and you won’t be disappointed!
Fantastic place! The food is amazing and the customer service too. I've been there on Fridays when they have live music (not loud at all). AND, no hookah.
I think Yukka was a nice experience. The live music really set the mood. The service was a bit slow, but still good. The drinks were good. The food was good. My wife and I will return.
The food was outstanding. Delicious Latin cuisine. Unfortunately the service was very slow. And since we were sitting in their street shed and it was very cold, that made it worse.
