A solid diner, that serves bizarrely good Mexican food. Try the Spanish Omelette for breakfast!
The setting was amazing, it has changed since 2018, 2021 and now 2022.My Experience changed; back in 2018 I went with my sister to get a coffee, they gave us cafe de olla and that was the best thing i tried there and was very satisfied with how it came. We order a big meal and it was great.During 2021, it wasn’t the best; since the pancakes I order were very dry and not good. Me and my friend had to digest it slowly and went on with our day. I was about to call it done at this point. Now 2022 of April, I was very satisfied with the tacos my mom order and was happy to enjoy my meal. It felt back like it did in 2018. The waiter was super polite and made it a friendly and great experience for us both. Would come back to try something else, as I see they changed it up a bit the dinner. I also wanted to know the waiters name cause he is a great employee to have at this place.
I have been coming here for a few years because of the convenience. At first, I had no issues but over the course of the last two years, it has become irksome to visit this place. For starters, no one greets you and you end up sitting yourself. Then you wait half an hour (hyperbolic) for them to come and give you a menu, if you're lucky. So what I started doing was order at the register and sitting myself. If you don't have a problem with this he wary, for you will find that the help is also not any better.Met with servers who sometimes have attitudes, are insecure, and talk down to their customers. The manager won't even stand up for you.If convenience is an issues, visit Nick's Garden Coffee Shop which is just a few feet down the street, at 2953 Webster Avenue.
Grew up coming here, always liked it. The counter staff is fine, but the waiters have been leaving more to be desired. Specifically the big Hawaiian looking lady, always has an attitude to customers, she never on the floor and will leave you waiting forever to get a menu, good luck finding her to get your bill, you'll be waiting longer than your overall meal time.Go to Nick's Garden Cafe Coffee Shop across Webster when possible.
Great food. Good prices. I good home cooked meal. Friendly staff.
It was pretty busy when we went. Which was a good sign. We waited for a little over 45 minutes to sit. But the food was great.
Always good food and their Spanish coffee is the best I've ever had. I always go there for their coffee

I have been eating here since 2016 when my granddaughter was going to the 4k academy on the same sidewalk and I never turned back. I used to go to bakery's that were on kingsbridge rd and Jerome close to Fordham for breakfast and other meals but I stopped once I tried the Webster diner. The food is great, the staff is awesome and I'm a regular.
Really enjoy going there. Was incredibly busy due to it being Fathers Day . Still good service
