I’m sorry to say this but this place has REALLY gone downhill... I understand that business is probably tight and he can’t afford to get fresh ingredients all the time but this is ridiculous. The sandwich hero bread was stale; the meats were tasteless and seemed like they were sitting there for a long time. I won’t be going here again unless I’m really desperate!
This place has the best eggplant Parmigiano and that's not an easy task coming after my mother's. Traditional Italian food. Delicious!
Great well prepared food by great cooks. Plenty of variety including fresh juices. A little pricey since they charge by weight but worth it.

I found this gem by accident and now it is my "go-to," even though it is a bit of a trip for me to get there (from Throgs Neck). The heroes and burgers are fantastic and the hot dogs (I love them with mustard and onions) rival the best of any traditional NYC Jewish deli anywhere. For the quality you get, the prices are very reasonable.

Don’t eat here the place is infested with rats the owner is cheap n doesn’t pay taxes he’s in trouble with the irs and the food is always old I worked there for two months and had to leave because of how bad it is no one likes to clean no one like to do anything and they pay half there employees under the table to avoid taxes. I definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here at all
