Went on Friday for lunch with a buddy and my youngest son. Who doesn't love an old school Italian restaurant, this place screams family. When you eat here you are family. My son is Gluten Free and they were extremely accommodating, offered him multiple options to choice from. Fried Calamari was light and crispy the way it should be, one of the best I ever had. I had Veal Parm excellent, My buddy had the Swordfish special which he said was delicious and my son had GF spaghetti with Bolognese sauce. A glass of wine and it was the perfect lunch, I look forward to returning for Dinner, Don't miss out if your on the avenue shopping stop in for a home cooked meal like grandma used to make.

The best Italian restaurant on Arthur Ave best Italian food and best cheesecake ever

Outstanding! Food, service, ambience. Drove in from CT and was not disappointed. Servers were very welcoming and the food…started with fresh, crispy calamari and marinara. Entrees included Fettuccine carbonara (the right way according to my Italian born sis- in law), orchiette and broccoli rabe, and lasagna bolognese. Prices very reasonable. Can’t wait to go back!

If I had zero stars..I will click it..worst customer service. Limited space and items on the menu..apart from wines they only have pink lemonade.. The pasta menue was in Italian..asked the woman to translate to be able to order and she sounded racist..saying ' we only serve Italian food if you want to order food from your country we don't serve it here' ..ignorant..who told you we came in there to ask for food from our country..we asked for interpretation of the menu and she was hostile and very rude. We left and went to Antonio's Trattoria..we were treated there with professionalism..beautiful environment..friendly staff..great food and wide selection of food and drinks at Antonio's..Tra Di Noi get your house in order

Love the small town feel you get from the moment you enter until you leave. This place is all about love. I'm not a big salt guy but in this case it needed it but besides that the food was delicious but for the show stopper was the cheesecake. One of the best I've ever had. It was airy but most importantly it wasn't sugary.

I was blown away by this magnificent authentic Italian restaurant!! It's everything you can imagine....all Italian from the table clothes to the decor, the friendly welcoming service! A chalkboard of specials; handmade burratta, pasta I'm still dreaming about. Wine selection is superb, get a bottle; you can take any left home with you. I don't live in NY but it's worth a trip to Bronx, NY to enjoy a meal here. An experience I can't wait to come back to. Thank you for welcoming us without a reservation.

Amazing food and absolutely amazing staff! Matilda Todd and Sebastian made us feel like family. Everything we ate was delicious. Ate here 2 nights in a row. Will definitely be back on our next visit.

We eat here twice a year, we’re from New Jersey. This is mine and my family’s favorite restaurant in the Bronx / Arthur Ave. This is the closest you’ll get to eating in Italy.. The food is Authentic Italian, Delicious and always made Fresh. The Service / Servers are the best, they make you feel like family. No Rush, just Eat and Enjoy ? everyone is friendly... I’m a tough critic of Italian food so Trust me, it’s Great ?

It was good. We had the calamari, gnoochi w/lamb ragu and trout almondine. All the food tasted great and was prepared well. Service was wonderful.

Terrific Italian food. The staff was nice and also very efficient with taking orders and getting the food out.
