If you know real soul food this place ain’t it this is my first & last time ordering here the Mac had no cheese , flavor & was dry the greens had no flavor or meat & the yams had no flavor & a weird taste not to mention the skin was still on very disappointed
The grits, yams, banana pudding, slamming. The chicken and fish and shrimp are good. I will definitely return hope they add potato salad at some point it is soulfood.
I really enjoy the food from here, having ordered the shrimp and chicken so far. It is delicious. The fries very tasty. Happy to have a place like this, good customer service.
THIS FOOD WAS AMAZING! THE SHRIMP AND GRITS WAS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD. I HAVENT HAD GRITS THIS GOOD EVER IN MY LIFE. THE CATFISH, MAC N CHEESE, AND YAMS WAS PHENOMENAL!!! DO BOT HESITATE TO GET THIS FOOD. I SWEAR YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! I DEFINITELY WILL BE A LOYAL CUSTOMER? ( YES I AM YELLING. THE FOOD IS THAT GOOD!)
Placed an order on Uber Eats without checking the Google reviews.. it has close to 4 stars on Uber Eats... I must disagree. Food was poorly packed, the chicken looked as if it were fried in old oil. Not so tasty either. Mac and cheese is plain with huge pieces of cracked pepper in it. Collared greens are sweeeet. The shrimp was decent. I would never order there again or recommend. Please save your money!
Went there last night to order fish and chips. When I received my order he offered me their home made grits for trial. I tell you I was in love. The food is soo good. Parked around the corner took a piece of fish and immediately went back to order more for my family and grits for the morning. Excellent service and food.
I had to laugh because it felt like a joke. The collard greens were not good. I got 4 pieces of wings ( aka 2 whole wings) with a bunch of fries. The wings were tasteless. The funny part of the meal was the “banana pudding”. It was store bought vanilla pudding with a few slices of bananas on top with cookie crumbs. That was straight up disrespectful. Do better y’all.
Food was good but when you spend $40 there should be napkins and utensils in the bag. Come on guys, lets get right
Finally stopped in a got the Fish n Chips with Mac n Cheese on the side.. and the food was good. The fish was fried perfect with chips/fries. Definitely going back for some more!
Great food and fast service. Definitely would visit again.
