Best Jamaican food spot in the bronx hands down, sometimes the wait can be a bit long if it's packed.

The service sucks the one on baychester rd the cashiers take orders from friends and favorites from the side line first. I got in there at 11:05 i did not get my food until 12:27. Mins you I’m on lunch break there goes my break. I cldnt call because the line busy or you get hold on and you hold for over 15 min. I was on line waiting patiently until I see everyone who walk in after me and call to the back of the kitchen gets ther food first. Unorganized people standing socializing calling number and passing food though. But cldnt she take orders instead of chatting while she wait to call the next number. Do better or else you stuck with stupid customers only.
Even though the food was good, the food is overpriced for the small portions they give. The dumplings were good.Also, there needs to be a better process for ordering and picking up food. Put signs next to the register so that you know what line is for ordering or picking up instead of having to ask other customers when you walk through the door.
First time visiting this restaurant. The food was very delicious. Will come back soon.?
Omg this place is the worst , the cashiers have too much attitude, if they don’t like their job they should quit and find something else that suit them instead of giving people attitude. I went there to spend my hard earning money there and all I kept getting is their disgusting attitude. The owner needs to fire all the cashiers there and hire new ones before his business goes to wreck, this made me not wanna go there and buy food anymore and I know I’m not the only one complaining about those cashiers in that place. No customer service skills at all I’m so disappointed.
Salad is from a wholesale bag… oxtail and rice and peas I ordered has zero seasoning… if the energy used in advertising and fake reviews was used on their food the food will certainly be better.. I feel like I wasted my money
You have to order in over the phone before a certain time (or else you’ll be waiting for like 30-40 mins in store) , but when I tell you it tastes like HEAVEN!! Seasoned, juicy, pumpkin fresh…. Feels like I’m in the island on vacation. The most high specifically assembled the chefs hands to prepare this meal. Stay blessed.
