I use to love this place. Food was always good. I’ve been coming here for years. But now I don’t know what’s going on. The quality of their food is has definitely changed for the worst and they rose their prices. Make it make sense. Putting that on the side. The customer service is disgusting, rude, and inconsiderate. Never again would I recommend this place. They are not what they use to be and looks like the only thing keeping them in business now is the reputation they had before. I guarantee you guys that this place no longer lives up to their reputation. I do not recommend at all. This place lost a customer
i had bought 3 dishes of mole poblano almost 70$ which i did not mind paying since i have tasted the mole from this place before which was good tasty and authentic with a thick sauce to it This time around the mole was way too runny & barely any flavor basically tasted like a water down mole there was no balance between the spices , the chocolate and chiles. Really disappointed at how i payed for food that did not reach my expectation from last time i had tried it. Smh i do not recommend.

Food was absolutely delicious. Presentation was beautiful. I ordered the chicken taco salad.(spicy at my request) home made guacamole was great. My husband loved it and he doesn't even care for guacamole. I washed it down with a tamarind Agua Fresca. Everything was great, service with a smile...always a plus. Definitely coming back.
I highly recommend this restaurant! My boyfriend ordered a torta and i ordered 3 chicken tacos American style. The service was kind, attentive and continuous. The food was delicious, fresh, hot and well made. The limonada we ordered were fresh squeezed and tasted amazing!
Amazing food and very warm staff. Our 8 years old loved sopes and their special dinner dish of beef and Mexican sausage with spicy tomatilos sauce and cactus. Very delicious food and delightful staff.
Food is fresh and salad is fresh and it’s always tasty, the hostess are mostly friendly. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for about 4yrs and just found out about this best kept secret. It’s my go to Dinner and Taco at Tuesday spot. Small and quaint food is outstanding.
Great food. I loved the cheese-stuffed-Chiles. They weren’t as spicy as I expected. The best coffee I have had in a long time. It was cinnamon flavor. It happily surprised me. By the time I got to the prawn soup I was full. However this is a great place. Thanks to my sister, who recommended it. I’m glad I brought my wife here, as she rarely is in NY.
I always order for delivery, and the last 3 times I ordered the girl answering the phone sounded like I was bothering her with my requests. She was extremely rude and just wanted to get me off the phone. I called back to speak to the owner/manager to complain about the over the phone customer service. And was told no owners are in the restaurant at the moment.And hung up on me like she just broke up with her boyfriend.I am giving you money for a service that I expect to be good if not great. But it was less than and unacceptable. Luckily I know 2 other local Mexican spots who are also very good with excellent customer service.Taqueria Tlaxcalli should feel lucky I don't put the names and phone numbers of the other restaurants on this review..
