Love, love, love this place! The shrimp and fries are to die for! You cannot beat the price and their hospitality is off the wall! I will be loyal. No more City Island for me unless I’m invited there for someone else.
I really like this fish shop. Great selection plus they cook amazingly on the premises. I live I'm Brooklyn but whenever I spend the weekend in the Bronx I make sure and go grab me some crab from Syana.
I use to love going to this fish market for quickly steamed salmon and shrimp. But the last three times I've went, the food has gotten me sick. Like bad sick I kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but no it's their food alright. Maybe because the food isn't always covered correctly or maybe because ppl speak over and pass cash over the fish in front of their cash register, or maybe even the tongs and bowls could use a few cleanings throughout the day after so many ppl put their germ ridden fingers on them. Or because the fish sits out on ice all day long getting landed on by flies. I don't know but I do know I will not be going back.
Do NOT get the fish soup full of bones choking hazard almost swallowed one. The red snapper fillet tasted good but was a joke compare to the pictures they used they used on Uber eats: Fake. They just tossed 2 round fried pieces of fish and a scoop of mash like school lunch. Super fast delivery though.
Great Seafood.... Dont matter if its boiled or fried or steamed they cook it for you well done

The pictures they have on the uber eats menu are very deceiving. You think you're ordering one thing , but receive something totally different.
