They have adapted well thru the pandemic and continue to deliver a wide variety of sushi dishes. They have even taken to naming sushi put together by patrons to sell. Very pleasant and everyone is a friend.
Sushi is my favorite food and this is my go-to sushi place! Other than the food being very good and fresh, the people working there are also very kind. Never had anything go wrong. The one time I ate inside with a friend, we had a lovely conversation with the workers about asian culture. They seem to genuinely care about their customers and are very happy when recieving their tips. Today, I ordered just a sashimi and a salad for pick up and they gave me extra salad and a bowl of miso soup for free!
Ordered here today. I ordered sushi roll spicy crab and spicy tuna. I ate first the spicy tuna I think and when I get to spicy crab its spoiled. I cant even try to swallow it. I return to the store to have them check. This girl with eyeglass checked the food. She tried it inside and when she went out you can’t even figure her face and she drink some water maybe just to remove the taste. After that she told me that that is how really the taste of the spicy crab. That is not true I was their customer for a long time and I know what I’m buying. Another thing they are doing false is advertisement. Their prices on their brochure is not the same when you received the bill. I asked about it and they said they increased their prices and I can check online. You can always change the price on one main brochure that is infront of the counter but they never did. If you never check your bill they will not tell you. One more thing if you order bubble tea, they will add .50 cents for the bubble. They said bubble is optional on a bubble tea!!! They rip people off!!! Do not order from them they have a bad business etiquette!
Ordered here twice back to back on GrubHub and salmon was fresh and miso was perfect! I enjoyed the food and would definitely order again!
I ordered the three roll special and the salmon skin roll. I like that the salmon skin was freshly made it was warm, but it made the mayonnaise hot . I didn’t appreciate the hot mayo. Also I asked for everything to be made spicy and it wasn’t. I had to eat the rolls with my hands because there weren’t any chop sticks in the bag. I just moved into my new apartment so I have no utensils. The salmon and tuna was very fresh which is the most important thing and the second most important was that the delivery was on time.
My favorite Bronx sushi place. They also have delicious crab salad and lunch specials. Food is always fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend them.
Edit: My last few orders of Avocado rolls were terrible. One order had crab sprinkled all over the rolls and the next order was eel and avocado.
Never order from this location. The food is of poor quality. Ordered sushi with “spicy tuna” and it had a very rancid taste and smell. The consistency of the tuna was also slimy and discolored. Tried contacting the location and spoke to the manager but she was very rude and unprofessional. Manager hung up the phone multiple times and refused to offer a refund for the issue. Please stay away from this location and avoid the possibility of having a stomach bug. Highly do not recommend. Worst customer service experience ever!
Clumps of rancid and smelly tuna on sushi rolls. Salmon was also very slimy. Saw tons of great reviews so though to give this place a try, however, when we contacted them, they kept hanging up the phone and did not address our concerns. They asked us to bring to sushi back but we lived 40 minutes away and this was very inconvenient. We sent them pictures of the order, to which they responded very unprofessionally.
We have lived in the neighborhood for nine years and I just ate their food for the first time last week. So glad I did! High quality sushi and very affordable. I will become a repeat customer.
