This place is a hidden gem!The food is very good, the step in burger was amazing, one of the best burgers I have ever tried. Also ordered the tomahawk steak, and I am very surprised to get it exactly at the temperature I ordered, it was well seasoned as well. The Spanish pork chops where amazing just a bit too much gravy but that’s just me. I can’t forget about the chicken wings, I believe this place has some of the best wings in NYC and yes I mean that!The drinks are spot on, they are not stingy with the alcohol. They have a great selection of bourbon.The music was a bit loud, I felt like telling the DJ to turn it a bit down, just a bit.This place is a must try, I’m gonna try the brunch next time ?.
Love this place . Been going there for so many years. Great food and awesome drinks. You will not be disappointed. Best bar tender Eddie and ask for Joe he will make you laugh when you sit at one of his tables. Enjoy... Betsy
I love this place. I've been coming to this place for about 15 years and it never disappoints. The staff is amazing. Joe is hilarious never a dull moment with him and Danny is so cool. I usually come for the brunch from time to time but the food any time of the day is always good. I definitely recommend.
I went their for lunch with my family and the food was delicious. I ordered the twin lobster tails, a baked potato and green beans. I really enjoyed my meal. The waiter's were also very friendly. I will definitely be going back there again.
This place is amazing. I just had one of the best burgers I've had in 15 years living in NYC. Atmosphere was incredible, the DJ kept playing our favorite songs, and the vibe was set. Definitely going back soon.
Food was great, drinks were great as well and the music was lit. More of a more older crowd, laid back setting. I was not disappointed ?

I always order the Spanish style steak, which is tenderly & scrumptiously cooked with onions, garlic, green & red peppers and seasoned to the gawds!! The dish comes with a robust amount of perfectly fried tostones and a healthy helping of a very tasty salad, that is doused with vinegar, salt & pepper. The entire meal is magnifico! The waiters are professional & may even crack some jokes with you as you enjoy the dimly lit & soft music filled atmosphere while waiting for your meal. ?
Always got the best food and choices always give a great portion size. And the staff treat you like you are the most important part of the day
Visited Step-Ins for the first time in a long time. It's been over 20 years since I've been here but the quality has been consistent. The drink menu are great, food is great. The only thing lacking is customer service. The host and the waiter was the same person. It was only 1 person doing this which made it difficult for customers to gain attention. I'm going to assume someone called out so I'll give them a pass. I plan to revisit soon.
