I hadn't frequented this restaurant in quite some time. When in the establishment the servers were very rude & disrespectful. They remained on their phones and swept around my table as I was trying to enjoy my meal. They were also speaking ill of me b/c I was talking on my phone.The food was overpriced, and not worth it for the disrespectful treatment,and mediocre quality of the food. I won't be returning.
Very overrated, rude customer service no one greets you nor is friendly Abigail if that is her name was extremely rude my food was heavy I asked if the bag could be doubled I was told no because I would have to be charged which is not true about food only groceries. I was yelled at upon entering because I did not know I had to have gloves on. Food is slightly old maybe I should have came earlier I will not return.
The price is just ridiculous. I took a salad try and got some rice, vegetables, 1 candy yam, 1 avocado and 1 piece of chicken. The chicken is so hard you could barely eat it vegetables are bluh it was 12.29 for lunch so not worth it. I will not go back
Their Food is ALWAYS GOOD. This is top 5 one of my fav places to get food. They have a good variety. It's buffet style. No dine anymore because of covid. Also the food is paid by weight so don't go crazy lol
Heard about this place and finally checked then out yesterday.. Everything was just fine until I got to the register... The place was clean, food appeared fresh and it was actually pretty good.. However the staff of very rude and nasty and don't know how to talk to customers let alone explain the vague sinage regarding the prices..The prices states $8.99 per pound but the moment you put one piece of oxtail on your plate it jumps to $15.99 per pound ... so what may have cost $10 jumped to $20 for 1 or 2 pieces of oxtail... That is ridiculous and Price gouging if you ask me... They will be reported and the won't have to worry about getting my money
They say the price is $8 a pound but if you add any seafood or meat it turns to $14.99 per pound. The fried food is okay. Really the best thing here is there mac n cheese
I put 3 oxtails on my plate along with curry chicken and got charged for a oxtail meal that came up to 23.38 when it was put on the scale.. let’s just say I would prefer to go to a Jamaican restaurant and get charged 18$ for a medium oxtail dinner.. way over priced! And the white rice was very crunchy
I went there because my nephew said the food was really good but he said it is by the pound the first sign I saw was 7.99 a pound and that was fine I put my food in the tray I had three little bitty nub pieces of oxtail because I wanted to sauce more than meat and I went up to the counter and the lady told me my plate was $28.95 I asked her why she said because I had oxtails I only had three little nubs I wish I could show you the picture I could not believe it I wanted to give it back to her but I wasn't sure do the covid what was you know the right thing and because I'm not a person that causes friction I bought it and promised I would never go there again I did walk around to the other side and on a sheet of paper small writing it says oxtails $12.99 I sure didn't see it when I got the sauce I can understand oxtails being 12.99 but not all of the food in the tray like tell me to put it in something separate but you going to charge me the entire plate so I paid $12.99 for the chicken rice and the string beans a pound that's not fair I get home and I tried the food The oxtails were the worst they were over sweet extremely sweet the best thing was the curry chicken and string beans the peas and rice was also very dry
Bad service charge and food not at temperature. Charge me for 1 oxtail 1 and called it a meal. Very rude and nasty. Last time ever ever coming there again. Told my partner don't even go there again.
The food here is good but its not that good to pay 15.99 a pound if you have to feed a family be prepared to spend some money. They have gloves to use while you get your food. This location has no sitting area or rest rooms.
