I can say we are a regular costumer at the Sea Shore restaurant. My husband always take me here on my birthday,or any family occasion during the year or sometimes we just come here to have a lunch together! My favorite the New England clam chowder and the broiled lobster they made the best ! But I tried steamed also or scallops you can’t get wrong with nothing there ..My Mom and my daughter love the chicken parmigiana, meal is huge enough for 2 days and my hubby a fried calamari lover .But he always try something else from the menu. Be careful when they bring the hot bread ,cornbread with olives ,cheese mushrooms you can get full with that more then delicious!! Staff very kind and funny make our stay always comfortable! They check up on you if you need something, and your cup never empty with the fresh ice of water.Cocktails great too , but sometimes I skip and just stay with water! This is a real seafood restaurant beautiful inside and outside, the dock sitting have a gorgeous view. Love the palm trees! The valet parking is a big extra!I recommended to everybody who loves seafood, or just would like to enjoy some quality food with great atmosphere around! You never gonna leave hungry from this place ! I promise!
parking available.... beautiful little outdoor garden area, spacious and clean dining... great viewing..Attentive service, friendly staff...best place I have being to so far on city island...I would have loved to have chicken on the menu..Would return.
My family went there for my brother's birthday, & we all enjoyed it very much. Absolutely delicious food, & getting a great amount each for the one person orders. The male waiter was always on time, & very respectful. The dessert I ordered tasted amazing.Thank you very much. ?
I have now taken this City Is staple off of my "Go-To" list of resturants to visit for my guest and others as yesterday's 6/20 meal-service was so disappointing. We were seated and it was a ful 25mins before we comondered a Waiter to take our order. The genesis of the disappontment comes down to the following; Clams Oreganato, ordered half Doz - got a full Doz that wereovercooked and full of grease; Ordered Blackened Whole Flounder (bone out) - and was presented with White Fish on a Bed of Spinach w/melted Cheese heavily ladden with Cajun Seasoning and not done. I scraped off majority of the seasoning to which as stated the fish was under cooked and mushy - but heavy on the melted Cheese to mask (overall just could not eat it). The accompanying Red Rice was also cold and couldn't melt the butter. Now the excuse was they were severly undrstaffed and they were rotating waiters (i'll get back to this). The Broiled Shrimp dish that the Ms had was also heavily greased but she muscled through it. After 2hrs of this when the bill finally arrived I was Charged for Filet of Sole Floentine at $40+ which wasn't what I ordered. Yes I complained - Manager intervened (I appreciate it). But lets circle back, Seashore used to be a "go-to" 1t stop spot on the Island if you couldn't get to the opposite end. The decline of the Sea Shore unfortunately (due to Wait Staff issues, Kitchen performance, or Busser that failed to clean tables between courses) takes away from the lore of what made CI a toursit destination and this needs to be fixed. I wish them luck - but they have been removed from my repeat list.
Dont bother making a reservation as I felt they didnt even bother with them. The place is very large with multiple seating areas so reservations are probably not ever needed. I went on a Sunday with 8 people for a birthday, everyone needed to be present to be seated (Fair rule). The service was great and we had a nice view of the boats and water, food was also very good and there were so many options. Definitely worth the prices. Valet parking is also available and so convenient, the valet guys were awesome as well. Just a great atmosphere
The food was mediocre for the cost. Drinks were on point!
Beautiful setting, fresh seafood, quiet lunch for old friends. The menu was extensive surf and turf, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. There was valet parking, but we found on street parking midday midweek.
As we arrived to the restaurant we were first greeted by the friendly Valet personnel who directed our party inside the restaurant. The hostess guided us to the patio dining section that overlooked the marina. The dining atmosphere had a relaxed calming feeling during dinner. The food was tasty, the service of the staff was polite, friendly and efficient especially our server. You would not have known it was his first day of work. The waiting time for our food was somewhat long, but the food was prepared from scratch, which is understandable.Well done to the entire staff of Sea Shore Restaurant.Thank You for a memorable graduation dinner for my father.
Wonderful place to eat! Everything was great from valet to our table outside with a decent view. Everyone and I mean everyone we encountered here was friendly and helpful! The food was good Could have used a lil salt n pepper! ? The peach mojito was superb! Pricey but worth it! Will definitely return!
The food was good! I think there was about seven birthdays in one night but the service wasn’t bad At all.. bring a sweater it’s a little chilly! My booth had a malfunction lol but I didn’t complain. I still recommend this spot!
