I've been going here for atleast 7 years and I tell you it's a very enjoyable spot. Especially the happy hour 2 for 1 drinks. Great comedy shows are always there. Celebrities all the time. Great food. Liquor strong but you get what you ask for. Parking across the street for a fee. People from all over but the BX definitely represents ????No complaints at all!!
I wont lie the event i went to was very nice the music was on point and the food was good ....i ordered some wings and they were cooked perfectly....now here is why i gave them a 3 star rating ...the place gets super packed almost like a club after a certain hour. Although i did have fun it was impossible to order any other items off the menu because the servers get overwhelmed. My server just completely forgot i ordered something else. Then brought me a receipt that was not even mine. She was sweet but i felt so bad for her she was being pulled a hundred different directions. After a while i gave up and just joined the party
The comedy show was great!!!! The limited event menu didn't have many of the options I would have like from the regular menu. But overall great energy good experience
Milton was an excellent server, he is very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing and the drinks are also very good. Would definitely come back.
This was my first time to Salsa Con Fuego. There was no temperature check and masks were optional. I purchased tickets to the Wednesday comedy night. Rob Stapleton was the host, JP Justice was awesome, and Michael Blackson was the headliner. I laughed so hard my cheeks and ribs were both hurting. The DJ was also amazing. Upon arriving to Salsa make sure you have your picture ID because they check it. The décor was beautiful. While walking to my table I noticed they have 2 ATM machines. Seating is first come first served. Because we arrived early, we were able to get a great table with perfect view of the stage. If you get cold easily you may want to bring something as the air was on blast. I kept my jacket on over me. The drinks were pretty good. Although I’m not a drinker I had a Shirley Temple. The drinks with alcohol are very strong. We ordered the empanadas (chicken and beef). The beef one tasted much better and was packed with flavor. The chicken lacked seasoning and was very dry. For my entrée I ordered roasted pork with pigeon pea rice and collard greens. I was worried about my greens not tasting good because not everyone can cook collard greens but they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I was very disappointed with the roast pork, it had absolutely no type of seasoning. I had to season it up once I went home then I was able to enjoy it. Their white rice was also really bland but the steak was pretty good. Our waitress was Rosa she was great in making sure we had everything we needed. There are restroom attendants who provide you with paper towels and also sell candy. Salsa is accessible via public transportation (bus). They accept cash and card. I had a great time and can’t wait to visit again.
Overall mediocre place to eat. At least in my opinion. The atmosphere is a nice place with the music and dance vibe to it, that was enjoyable. But when it comes to food, I’d expect more for the price and type of place this establishment comes off as. I ordered the seafood and I got a massive bowl of rice, with a couple shrimp, 2-3 small clams, a few muscles which had no muscles in them so just a shell. Was not too satisfied with a seafood bow that was just rice. Another order at the table was 2 orders of the steak. Both were ordered medium and came exceedingly rare, very red and very chewy. Once again good atmosphere and scenery to come by, but the food for restaurant standards was just not there. 2 stars because of the food, if the food quality control was there it’d be better. Drinks are good, appetizers were good and very tasty, maybe I just had a one sour meal but others at the table liked the food like the pork.
Absolutely thee best experience. I’ve had my birthday dinner here, other birthday dinners, parties, or just for drinks. The ambience is amazing, delicious authentic Spanish food, and awesome drinks at a reasonable price! Definitely go enjoy a night out and have a wonderful time at Salsa Con Fuego. No regret here!
Helen, the bartender is the best thing since light and fire was brought to humanity. She is personable, friendly and professional (she is a looker too). I enjoyed the service and she communicated very well. It was a bust night and I did not have to continually ask for service. Good place to frequent.
Place is spacious and nice! Food was delicious, drinks need an upgrade.
They have happy hour so you get 2 drinks for the price of one. the drink is approximately $12 , they are made very strong so it is worth it. their food is still phenomenal they have a DJ on the weekend and entertainment for New Year's Eve.
