The food was, so good. Omg.
A small order of brown stew chicken w/rice and beans was delicious $6. Just enough to fill you up. My only regret is that I didn't get the fried chicken my friend ordered it was by far one of the best iv ever tasted from any Caribbean restaurant simply put it was cooked to perfection.
Horrible place...Horrible customer service. Horrible food. Will never go back.
Excellent fast, employees were a bit too formal calling me sir in a neighborhood I was born in.
This the one and only Richie Rich I will go to Jah Know. Burke and Boston road need to fix themself personally. I go here because the food I want is always available, taste good and is served by two nice girls! I’ve never experienced a nice West Indian woman and the brown one with the bonnet and chiney eyes ALWAYS so damn nice !!! Thank you for your awesome attitude is why I keep giving THIS LOCATION my money.
Very busy spot. Good food sells fast
I like them. So far the couple of times I’ve been there the food was fresh and flavorful. I really like their fry chicken. It’s crispy juicy and bursting with flavor. It’s honestly not easy finding a Jamaican restaurant with consistently good food in Nyc. I will say this is one of the gems. ??
When you go after 8pm they tell you there are no more medium plates which forces you to buy the large. The curry goat had no flavor, clearly they added water to stretch it. The rice and peas lacks flavor and the jerk chicken is dry and bland. You can taste the reheat; it's dry and flavorless not a hint of jerk. The servers are more concerned with their phones or friends so you're overlooked then have to repeat your order three times before they get it right.
I bought a small cornmeal porridge and it’s watered down. I mixed it just a little bit, and it tastes the same. And they have no dumplings or even festival. Beyond annoyed af!
Food and service are good (good fry chicken even though am not a fan of fry foods), only wish the place was more spacious. This is only for takeout so that's not a big deal.
