Stopped here on a pizza tour, Sal and his wife have a wonderful restaurant. They are also very nice and made us feel at home. The pizza was very good
It’s the slice to beat. Best NYC pizza without a doubt. Great flavor great bread, and sauce and I swear when you look at the cheese slice you know it’s good. You need to try it you haven’t.
Just the whole Italian vibe of New York is was wrapped up inside this pizza parlor. The guy was very informative on the history and all. Just the whole experience of it all was excatly what the mid American guy was looking for!!! Oh and the pepperoni ? was heat. And the spicy sauce he recommended did it for me!!!
I remember when I was first introduced to the best hidden gem in the he Bronx Just about 12 years ago and lol we would go in groups and order everything from the menu for Appetizers as we waited for the cheese burger’s freshly made to order even the bread freshly made to order. I moved out of the Bronx and I can not every hit my home town and not get a Pugsley burger lol no exaggeration if you know you know. WoW
Great little old school spot just off Fordham rd that feels as if you are 1000 miles from the Bronx. Really good standard slices and there is a super chill outdoor dining area with a flat screen tv. Would be the perfect spot to grab a pie, some beers amd watch a ball game.
Really good pizza and even better service. Owners are amazing and they make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk thru the door.
I had a relaxing time at pugley Pizza order few slices of pizza ?, French fries ? and soda ? the lady and the old guy was great and funny ? like the place
I was visiting a friend in town and was so excited to try this place. The pizza was good, but our driver refused to drop it off at the apartment door and made us come all the way downstairs to get it. Barely two minutes after we got it, someone at the restaurant called me and yelled that I was a “cheap f—ker” because I forgot to add a tip in the app (a simple mistake that I fixed right away). I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because it was late at night, but it was hard to enjoy my pizza after that.
they have the best pizza and the best atmosphere. you feel like you're around your family. and the pizza is excellent. if you're in the area you should not miss eating their Pizza it is that good
This may honestly be the most hidden gem there is in the Bronx. The owners are absolutely incredible, nice elderly couple who treat their customers like they are family ! It’s an absolute pleasure to dine in here ! Pizza is top notch above all things .
