I browsed through Pio Pio pricing comparing Manhattan and the Bronx. Noticed pricing was better in the this location for the matador combo $32 so since I was on my way to the Bronx, decided let me save some money and go here. Ordered there and was charged $50. When I brought up the issue to the male employee March 27 7:30pm, he brushed me off and said it's not his problem and that it's a known issue but that the owners don't care to address it. Overall, he had a nasty attitude and refused to have a civil engagement of listening to the customer. Terrible service and terrible that they know this issue to exist. It's manipulative and it doesn't speak for true integrity a business motto should follow. Won't ever eat here again! Making our Peruanos look bad!

Limited menu but taste is amazing. This is the first one I've been to in the Bronx. I got the family style meal and it was more than enough food for me and my family of 4. We did have to order 2 extra orders of rice and beans to have enough for all of us because they only serve it with a single serving or maybe a light portion between two people.location is cozy and they checked us all to see if we're all vaccinated.

Very tasty! Definitely going back!

Chicken deliciousOrdered sides and wasn’t give any. Paid 12 dollars for 2 pieces of chicken. I can buy a couple whole chickens for that price

Anytime you are in the area of the South Bronx, hop in the train 6 to Cypress or the bus BX33 and delight yourselves with these hidden jewel. Peru is well known for their culinary arts but this restaurant brings it up a notch. The service is awesome with affordable prices and great ambiance.

The worse Peruvian food I have ever tasted!Frozen food and bad taste.I tried 4 different dishes and they all were weak!I’m too tired to write everything I experienced at this place but the only reason I gave a one star is because there’s no ZERO star option.I made one in Spanish but don’t have time to do one in English, but I’m never coming back here, and I spent $197 bucks to not eat 1/2 of what we ordered. Weak!

Very friendly and professional

I enjoyed my meal at Pio Pio. The sangria and the food were absolutely delicious. The service was great. The atmosphere was really nice. I would call this a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit.

The roasted chicken is delicious. It was moist and not dry at all . The green spicy sauce was great to go with it !

Food is super delicious! Everything on the menu is good. Drinks are amazing and strong here too. Waiters are nice and very quick.
