Just a couple of Brits needing food and a break in the Bronx. Found this place - excellent Diner experiance for a tourist like myself. Waitress was helpful and served us with a relaxed attitude, gave us great recommendations. Quiet, relaxed atmopshere. No faults.
Place has improved incredibly over the last few years. The prices have gone up a bit but my family and I go there a couple times a month.
I been coming here for over 20 years! They never got my order wrong❤ the best!! I now bring my kid here, he loves it too!
Restaurant was very misleading. I was missing a few items off my order, & when I called to correct it they acted like they didn’t understand what I was saying. Then after all that waiting for my order to be corrected, the food was nasty I couldn’t even finish. Everything was poorly prepared. If you want good breakfast I DON’T recommend here.
Absolutely terrible service. I arrived at 6:50am to have breakfast while waiting for the supermarket to open to buy my lunch, and felt absolutely unwelcome. The waiter had a surprised look in his eyes that literally told me: what are you doing here? Upon such a treatment I decided to only have coffees instead. I asked if I could have hot milk for my coffee and he said he couldn’t do that. Every restaurant and dinner I ever been to can do this simple task. A 30 seconds microwave job. Then he showed up with a paper cup!!!That is when I flipped. Are you kidding me? Why would I chose to go to a dinner and pay double for my coffee to be served on a paper cup. I just can’t believe I had to even ask for a coffee cup. Very disappointing.
A quiet place to have breakfast, the waitresses very helpful, the delicious food, well-cooked eggs, well-cooked sausage, the delicious homemade potatoes, and their respective serrano pepper to give a succulent flavor to the breakfast, and the service is fast, what else can you do? ask to have a good breakfast
great vibes. staff is nice and food was delicious. if close by you should definitely stop by !
I was sitting about to eat my food when a water bug Landed on me.. that waitress came killed the water bug move me to a different table he said it was fine never in my life have I had a cockroach crawl on my neck or my hair is disgusting and on top of that they made me pay don’t go there if you want cockroaches
This placed has stayed in my family for over 18 years. I love that they have changed but still pushing strong!
Always a pleasure dining here, I have tried a few entries and all have been great thus far
