So delicious. I've been eating ricotta on my pasta my whole life and it has never occurred to me to cover it in honey and eat it with some amazing focaccia crisps. Had the ceasar salad with shrimp, big portion super well seasoned shrimp, very flavorful. Staff are sweet and helpful. Come here, you're welcome!
Monte’s is one of my favorite places to eat in The Bronx. I’ve been here multiple times because the food and service is great.I ALWAYS get the focaccia bread with ricotta cheese & honey as well as the mozerella wedges ?The pizzas are delicious and their pesto pasta is to die for! I would also like to note that this is the only place where I look forward to getting chicken with the pasta because it’s always fresh and tasty!I definitely recommend ?

Great place to eat . Food is delicious. Drinks are excellent and pizza is to die for.. I had the jerk pizza definitely a bit spicy but tasty. Ambiance is great. Staff is very friendly and attentive
Inconsistent, sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s really bad,this time there was hair on my pizza.looks like it was in the dough, I still ate it cause I didn’t know lol but yeah that’s probably it for me.also just for context this is my plate and yes I understand the assumption is that it could be my mistake however I’m crazy and washed and dried this plate and inspected it prior to serving myself this pizza.I am 100% sure there was no hair on this plate.
Excellent restaurant! Food was amazing from top to bottom. We started with the maple chipotle wings, which were plump with lots of chicken on each wing. Then got the jerk chicken pizza and the pesto pie, both unreal in the delicious perfectly cooked crust. We also had a Caesar salad, which was fresh with the perfect amount of tasty dressing topped with focaccia croutons. Our server was friendly and attentive. The busboy was helpful and friendly. All in all, A++ meal. Can't wait to go back!
The pizza is excellent. Yes..it is so well made and taste delicious. I went to get a slice . Ended up with 2 sicilians and a slice.Everything was so good. The place was very clean . I would definitely recommend and will be back soon..

I normally do not leave reviews online, but feel pretty strong about this, so here it goes. I love supporting local businesses in my hometown area of the South Bronx, and will go out of my way to support the business in any way I can. BUT… don’t try to rip me off with substandard food. Whenever I find a new Italian restaurant I always get the Chx Parm because that is the simplest dish you can make and can rarely screw it up. This place did just that. The chx was hard to chew on, it had a rubbery feel and was very tough to swallow. I think the chx was old, because it’s color on the inside was 50 shades of grey. I just have not had such a bad experience before. Sorry if my message offends but I was thoroughly disappointed with my meal. Hope you guys take this in stride and can fix it for future patrons.
