Chicken was so raw in the chicken chowmein from the lunch special ! The jerk chicken in the chowmein from the lunch special , the jerk chicken had too much jerk seasoning and it was disgusting and nasty !
I'm sorry to say this but the chicken needs to be cleaned properly before being cooked. I just ordered some chicken fried rice and all I can see is the chicken feather on the skin..This never happened before and it's sad.

It was my first time ordering from here. The place is cozy and the staff friendly. Everyone wanted to know if I was being helped when they saw me waiting. The roti was great. I will be buying from them again.

Comparing Melanie’s with all of the Guyanese and or Caribbean restaurants in queens , Bronx or Brooklyn, the food at Melanie is by far the best ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Melanie's is a nice Guyanese West Indian Restaurant located right in Castle Hill, Bx. NY. with good food, the Jerk Chicken & Rice & Beans is a must try. The owners are nice & I will recommend & be back again.???
