Really tasty food.Good service.Surprisingly nice decor inside -- I wasn't expecting much, given the area.(Don't judge a book by its cover, I guess).I'd eat here again, if I find myself in the area, for some reason.
I haven’t been here since 2007 and all I can tell you is that the food is still the same as it was the last time I came here.. PHENOMENAL… and the Gentleman who took my order was EXCEPTIONAL…the Rotisserie Chicken is on point as well as the Red Beans and White Rice.. if you happen to be on W 231st in the Bronx.. you most definitely need to stop by…????
The good was to dry for me and not seasoned very well. Very nice location though
After seeing the reviews, I decided to stop in and get dinner. Terrible customer service, waitress had an attitude. Menu advertises avacado salad she said they don't have avacado, I then order an appetizer of fried calamari. After about six minutes she returns to tell me they don't have calamari. I canceled the rest of my order at that moment. The only item available was the Sangria I ordered. It was $9.00 so I gave her $11 that's 22.2% tip for a 10 minute visit. She had the audacity to start speaking in Spanish to her co-worker complaining about her tip as if I don't understand her. Her service wasn't worth a single dollar tip, 22% was more than her and the establishment deserved. I would advise you spend your money and time elsewhere for traditional dominican food.
One of my favorite places to go for the rotisserie chicken. Sooooo good! Nice atmosphere at this location, Riverdale. Prices are reasonable. Enjoy!
Decided to place a phone call for delivery. Order the churrasco (well done) w mashed potato, bistec encebollado w tostones and 3 patelitos. The churrasco came pink inside & mashed potatoe was bland. The tostones where hard. I ordered 3 pastelitos for my nephew one of the chicken pastelitos had a bone inside (very unsafe) Asides from the food there customer service was horrible.when they answer the phone they immediately put you on hold and when they do manage to answer 5min later they have the audacity to have an attitude and rush you. I’m super upset it’s my birthday and this was not it!
Very slow ladies, especially the one that’s always in the front. Mash potatoes were bland, I could’ve done it better and I barely know how to cook. Disappointed!! Nevertheless the service in the afternoon/ night time, is much better. The guys are doing the best they can.
Food was delicious. Don't get the red wine. It does not taste as it should. (Unless they show you the bottle and you approve). Service was good. It could be better. Restaurant was pleasant. Went there on a weeknight.
If I could give them zero stars…ordered for delivery.Hair on the food.Ordered a mixed salad and got a container full of lettuce, nothing else.Ordered a mofongo and Did not receive the caldo.Ordered pollo Al ajillo and it smells like fish, threw it away.Waste of $60+ dollarsI called the restaurant about all of this prior to leaving a review and all they said was “bueno more perdón por el error” but did not offer a solution, nothing.Disputing it with my bank of grubhub does not do right by me. No way in hell I’m eating this food
