Not cheap, but everything here is delicious. The pastrami sandwiches are lean. The rye bread is always soft. Their soups are yummy, whether lentil or chicken gumbo or mushroom barley.

I was so disappointed this week. I ordered a quart of matzo ball soup and asked for no noodles and no bread. My grandmother wasn’t feeling well and all she could get down was the matzo ball. They gave me 2 matzo’s and charged me $15. I couldn’t believe they didn’t put third one I questioned it but they ignored the question and the receptionist actually rolled her eyes at me. There were a lot of people there so I didn’t make an issue of it but a review was definitely necessary. I have been in the area since I was little and I’m sad that their customer service is at this level.

Inflation is up and everything is expensive, but $15 for chicken soup and no chicken in it is obscenely spiteful to a customer traveling far in hopes of something decent. If this placed goes out of business it won’t be for a changing demographic but fed up customers. Good luck

Enjoyed some fresh pastrami and rye sandwich with some pickles on the side. Sandwich was delicious and definitely recommend. this establishment has been here since 1953. Great Jewish deli, food is excellent as well as the ambiance, also old time music playing in the background.

YUM-YUM melt in your mouth pastrami!! So good. I actually waited in my car for half an hour waiting for them to open because I didn't want to go anywhere else. Pastrami on rye with Russian dressing and a half sour pickle excellent. I can't comment on the other items because this is all I've had. However they are expensive $19.99 for a sandwich.

I ordered on Goldbelly. The chicken soup was like dishwater. Tasteless heavy matzo balls. Dry tasteless corned beef tough and chewy. The absolutely worst knishes I ever tasted . I actually spit it out. Pastrami grisly too thick tough. Rye bread heavy and not fresh. Cole slaw just cabbage with no taste. Schnecken with dough like cardboard with a gritty raisin filling . We threw all the food in the garbage and made our own dinner. We threw pit $129.00. We complained to Goldbelly and they did nothing.

We ordered here for dinner last night. The food from this place was excellent! We had the meatloaf, corned beef and pastrami, potato knishes and babka. Large portions and really fresh tasting food! Even leftovers were delicious. Definitely planning to order from here again.

We live in Southern Virginia, however born in Brooklyn and raised in Los Angeles but now living where breakfast is biscuits and gravy, and lunch or dinner may be a pulled pork sandwich, and hotdogs might cost 3 for $1.00 you miss the food you grew up on well My dear wife ordered me a pastrami sandwich, from your deli , and I have to tell you that the cost of this sandwich may not only become a staple in my home perhaps once a month or so but it may just save me a trip to NY because now that I know I can order food from the Deli and probably a good Chinese restaurant as well I don’t have much need to take that trip to NY that I have been longing to take. Thank you it was awesome and I am full it was a great sandwich.
