I have been at the Home BX Steakhouse to celebrate my son's graduation. I would start with the call for reservations with Irma very patient and helpful. The extraordinary service of Tober Polanco full of energy, patience and love for his job and customer service and very caring manager Nathan. The food amazing. All of it with a distintive flavor of freshness. Every item we tried very delicious. The beef with pasta, the salmon, the churrasco with mushrooms, the ny strip steak with mac and cheese, the lamb chops with salad and yuca chips. Everything so delicious and so unique in flavor. This place made us feel like home! I recommend the place to everyone! If you need to go a a great place to eat go to Home BX Steakhouse!!!!
I dined at this establishment on Valentine’s Day and been a regular ever since. This place is so convenient and such a beautiful add to the neighborhood. Completely love their oysters special on Sunday’s. My favorite drink is the passion fruit Margarita and the baked Oysters. Yummmmmmmm. Mashed potatoes ate whipped heaven and their steaks are delicious.
Service was terrible but they will still charge auto grat at 20%?! Please beware! The food was very decent, but for the long wait and price, it is not worth it.Came to check out a new Bronx business and was sad to see how subpar the service was. We ordered all of our food immediately and had to wait over half an hour for the wings and pork belly app. Then another 45 minutes for medium rare filet and strip steak, the filet was butterflied when no one asked for it to be, no proper steakhouse would do this to guests. The entire time, our waiter came to our table just twice, once to pack our food to-go and then to charge my credit card. That was when I found out that there is an automatic gratuity of 20% when I saw the term 'additional tip' above the signature line. I had to ask him to confirm, our waiter couldn't drop an itemized receipt nor let us know verbally that there was already a gratuity. Guess he was expecting to be tipped extra? I work in the hospitality industry and I simply think that this is very greasy behavior for a new business that made us wait over an hour for our food. There are growing pains to all new businesses, I understand, but to force gratuity on your guests, let alone 20% is extremely shady.
Firs time in this place. Delicious food and drinks. Excellent atmosphere and live music. I definitely recommend this place 100%
I love finding great neighborhood gems and this is absolutely one! The quality of the drinks, food, staff and ambiance are all top notch and a fantastic representation of what Bronx dining can be. Went for a casual dinner on Wednesday and will absolutely be back! The steaks were all cooked and seasoned to perfection and the Mac and cheese was delish!

I’ve lived in Kingsbridge for some time now and make it a point to eat local (frequently since I usually work late and don’t cook) and invite as many people as I can into the neighborhood. While I was very excited to have a new dining option open up, I was quickly disappointed with their poor management. I visited the restaurant over the weekend with very high hopes but was let down. I’m not sure what affiliation Jose Norman has to this establishment (owner, manager, etc) but he should really reconsider communicating directly with customers. Unfortunately, I won’t be back.
Went during the soft opening and really enjoyed the whole experience.The restaurants aesthetic is warm roomy yet cozy with a good diverse mixture of easy listening music. The service was kind, friendly and helpful, as for the food it was great.We had the churrasco and the NY Strip along with mac & cheese, creamed spinach and whipped potatoes. There were margaritas and beer involved too. :)It's a nice welcome to the neighborhood.
Ended up in here after the neighboring restaurant was closed due to a holiday party… in February. Very happy I did, Great service, great food, great portion sizes. Solid happy hour too. Will be back
Beautiful restaurant and amazing service our waitress perla was wonderful and all the other servers would go above and beyond with their customer service. I will definitely come back and try the filet mignon
