We had a great afternoon in the cute back courtyard at Gerbasi. Walked in on a whim and were very happy with both the food and service. Definitely listen to George's recommendations, he pointed us toward some delicious wine! We had several of the specials -- mussels tequila and baked rigatoni with sausage and squash -- as well as the eggplant rollatini and veal saltimbocca from the regular menu. All were excellent and followed by homemade limoncello at the end of the meal. We were too full for dessert but will definitely be back to try that too! Thanks George & team!
Gerbasi Ristorante is a great find! Chef Moses brings it with delicious, creative specials, but also traditional Italian dishes. Service always outstanding and friendly, Highly Recommended! And bonus beautiful, spacious, quiet garden out back!
We received the most rude service i ever had. The waiter lecture us to not complain due to he was working alone and things will go slow. When i asked about details of a Parmigiano, he was sarcastic and irrespectful saying that everyone knows what was that. The food is expensive for the amount in the plate. My plate of chicken came only with two thin slides alone, nothing else. The amount for the other was not as usually receive in restaurants. We left the place with hungry. Was a waste of our money.
Cozy restaurant with great atmosphere and great service! Food did not disappoint as well. Went there a while ago and got the special. The lobster pasta was phenomenal!Highly recommended!
Delicious an creative takes coupled with exceptional service! My family and I were walking down Arthur Ave. when a nice gentleman (I’m sorry that I forgot his name) enticed caught my toddler’s attention. He soon began telling us about their specials and we were sold - right there on the sidewalk. It didn’t disappoint! I had the baked ravioli and my wife and I shared the octopus appetizer. As I said, everything was very tasty. We live in Brooklyn and we were only in the area after visiting the Bronx Zoo but we may have to add Gerbasi as a mandatory stop after future visits to the zoo.
Excellent service and food, and also kids friendly. My daughter says thumbs up to the lasagna and strawberry ice cream! I had the veal Milanese and gazpacho as a start. All super tasty and fresh. The waiter and server are very accommodating and friendly. I used to go there years ago and glad to see that the kitchen is still very good and the service impecable

Fabulous food and service
We had a great experience at Gerbrasi. The food was excellent all the pasta was made fresh! George and the rest of the staff made you feel like family and attentive to details. I would highly recommend.
The only thing they don’t have a lunch menu just dinner.
