Estrellita Poblana is, without a doubt, the best Mexican restaurant in the Bronx and I say this with all honesty and sincerity.I am a regular and frequent customer and I say this with pride. Estrellita Poblana covers all coners in terms of delicious Mexican food, quality of service and cleanliness. The food is authentic and outstanding. The staff is always kind, attentive and friendly. The restaurant's seating area is always clean and presentable and the staff will make every effort to accommodate guests with large numbers.My wife has been thier customer for 20 years and I have been eating here for 6 years and this establishment has captured my heart.I highly, highly recommended Estrellita Poblana as the best Mexican Food Restaurant in the Bronx. Don't bother going anywhere else. ??????????????
Pre-pandemic, this was my favorite restaurant! But now their prices have sky rocketed substantially. A $17 plate is now $29. On top of that, the portions are smaller and the food doesn’t even taste the same. Maybe they are rationing the seasoning and meat but it doesn’t taste the same. After the pandemic I ate here a few times and it was not good. If you go sit and eat, they don’t even give the salsa anymore. They charge you for it. I feel like the restaurant took advantage of the pandemic and pushed their prices up. There’s other Mexican restaurants in the area that is much more affordable and taste really amazing.
I have been eating here so long I walk in blindly, they never disappoint. Service is great, food is always good. I recommend this location to anyone and everyone, they have other locations but something about the castle hill restaurant that stands out from the others. The vibe here is different.Pictured is (my fav) A chicken quesadilla in corn tortilla, pernil tacos with everything, chicken tenders and fries.Don't forget the avocado sauce and green hot sauce
Everything we order was delicious, the only thing we didn't like was that because of valentine's day they had an specific menu. Which means you could only order what they had there, not from their regular menu. Other than that everything was delicious.
I had the chicken burrito which was delishh and the guacamole was great! Great service, food and entertainment...there's a guitar player who sang pretty good too!
I pay almost $90 dollars for my food some and they send me all burn quesadillas and yet they always missing something I try giving them a chance but everytime is worst I won’t buy from this place again

Omg, my family had an amazing experience. We celebrated our daughter's birthday and everything was fantastic the food was delicious, the staff was so friendly we even got a chance to have a mariachi man serenade our night. The whole team made her night extra special. We love this place; it was a 10/5 experience.
Love this place. The food is delicious no matter what you order. It is pretty empty on a saturday afternoon but maybe due to it startung to get cold out. I order the handmade quesadillas with mexican sausage and it is super filling. Def can take leftovers. Requires proof of vax to dine in
I give it two stars because I have eaten before and the food is good but for great price. However, watch out BECAUSE the restaurant when you go in person has completely different pricing than on this site and now the quality of food is questionable for the price they charge in person. In addition, the manager will admit the pricing is different on the website but did NOT honor the price as is here. So for example, take out order based on pricing from this website was $38 for two meals and guacamole but then in person for “take out”, they tried to charge $78. The manager told us that this pricing was before the “pandemic” but if we cancelled our “take out order”, we could order it online for the pricing on this menu. Soooo, if you do go in person, expect the establishment to charge you DOUBLE even if you order based on the pricing from this site.
