Normally the food is amazing! but something changed! either they got a new cook or the management has changed, I’m not sure what it is? The food doesn’t taste the same :( which is unfortunate because it’s was the best spot in the Bronx In my opinion. It appears to be under construction for the past six months the employees don’t even look clean. Something is definitely wrong…. Hopefully they get themselves together and the food back to the original quality food that we used to get here. It’s in the color and texture of the food in the hot trays looked off.
I was very upset that I can't you the bathroom. Again I am not a bum. I am a former elementary teacher, who did like to eat there. I was going order food after I use the bathroom. I expain that to him and others was just listening. I am a senior citizen who had to go to the bathroom. The older cashier is very rid and needs to learn better customer services skill, especially, if you want your customers to come back. I did 35 years of customers service and never once refuse people especially, an elderly person from using rest room.. I am not coming back there.
The food is good but the way to order is confusing and unorganized on top of that they mix utensils when serving food. I've seen it happen 4 times they mix the fish utensils and pick up chicken or plantains and each time I have to tell them nevermind the food for myself and I just get everyone else's order in my family.
So delicious. Wide selection to pick from and a friendly staff. Their fried plantains are a perfect dessert to a great meal. The rice and beans were so tasty.
I was extremely dissatisfied with the service I recieved. I ordered thru Uber eats which at times allows promotions. I ordered over $40 worth of food. Which to my delight also came with a promotion. Which gave me $20 off. Which I was happy about. But once I recieved the food I was charged the full price. Which I don't mind but my issue is that I feel lied to. I cantacted Uber and was told it was the merchants promo so they couldn't do anything. I've tried to contact the store directed but there was no intention for a resolution. This is disappointing. I would have been satisfied with a proper explanation but I was not offered such.
Great Spanish restaurant, food is outstanding and establishment is clean and great customer service. Has a “ A “ rating from the Dept of Health and Definitely recommend.
Food is good, but in the dine in section they removed the waitresses so now you have to stand on the line along side the people who are ordering take out, order your food, and take it to a table yourself.
The sancocho does not taste authentic it taste more like chicken soup no langoniza forFlavor just bad altogether never again $30.00 wasted
Food is good there but if you order a penil sandwich after a certain time the guy that makes the sandwiches and cuts the meats gets annoyed. Do not appreciate that. I'm the one that's spending money there. I can go somewhere else and not get a complaint.
I purchased the Whole chicken , with rice and beans ,the chicken was terrible it tasted old so it went straight into the garbage along with a pound of roasted pork (Pernil). The pork was definitely old and must have been cooked in old grease. The food is not fresh in this place . BEWARE !!
