Excellent Peruvian food (though it was my first time trying the authentic thing). The food was incredible - we had the lomo saltado, ceviche pescado and veggie empanadas. The lomo saltado was perfectly seasoned, the ceviche was delightful and refreshing, and the empanadas showed incredible care and flaky pastry. Last but not least, the alfajores - this was my first time to try this delicious Peruvian dessert and I was absolutely blown away. The buttery biscuit and the caramel-like filling were perfect. And alongside the food we also had the great experience to enjoy our lunch in the restaurant and speak with Rich. Thank you, Rich and Claudy for the awesome food! We would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Finally a great traditional Peruvian food joint in this part of the Bronx. We ordered to pick up, the person was friendly and patient. First time ordering so I wanted to know the portion size for the Chaufa. He explained the size and what I could add to it. We chose chicken and steak. We order a Salchipapa as well. (Fried Hotdog with fries). The rice was delicious. The large size feeds 4 people. The salchipapa was good!! I’ll definitely recommend it.The green sauce is delicious but is not complementary. At least two sauces should be part of each order.

Today, I randomly stopped at this place. Nearby there are a lot options to dine in, but this is most healthy one. I do novice level bodybuilding so I need to watch what I eat.My first impression about the place were amazing. Employees and Owner of the place are super friendly.Food was delicious. I have ordered chicken and beef empanadas. Chicken tasted appropriately, as ones you eat in hight quality restaurant. It was not dried or undercooked, you could tell that it was cooked properly and maintained cooking temperature 165 f , during preparation. Daw was crispy and grease free. Which is very rare with empanadas. Both chicken and beefed tasted fresh, almost felt like I was eating organic meat. Thanks for this great experience.

I ordered online today and picked up a whole chicken to make a quick meal at home. The chicken was very good and well cooked. The green sauce was delicious! There was no parking (busy area) but one of the staff came out and brought. Great first impression. Will come again try other dishes.

This restaurant is run by a husband and wife. Food is good. Staff is Super friendly Always have a good Meal when I come here

Food is delicious and so flavorful. This is the real deal - authentic Peruvian handmade and cooked with love and passion by Claudia.

I LOVED, LOVED the food. I have been looking for a good athentic Peruvian food in the area, and found it!. The chicken was well seasoned and not dry. The empanadas were delicious. Yuca fries were well cooked and my kids love the salchi papas. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Definetly ordering from here again.

The best Flan around.Love their Yuca fries.Love that from the very beginning Claudy's kitchen has supported community and set a wonderful example. Congrats on being recognize locally as community is paramount.

If you want to eat good Peruvian food at a good price in a great environment this is your place. Family owned place with excellent customer service . The flan is amazing and don’t forget to take some green sauce to go.

Our experience with Claudy's Kitchen was fantastic. We only did delivery but we look forward to one day experiencing their food while dining in.First off the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable when I asked about my fiancee's peanut and tree nut allergy. This restaurant can accommodate the allergy and what was even more refreshing was how knowledgeable they were about the ingredients in their food. You'd be surprised how often I call restaurants asking if they can accommodate nut allergies and they can't give you a straight answer. But these guys know exactly what's in their food.On top of that, given it was our first time ordering here, we tried a sample of a few different empanadas, their salad, and their chicken.Everything was top notch. We look forward to adding this restaurant into our "rotation" and I have no doubt we'll be ordering from here often.I'm not familiar with Peruvian cuisine so I can't speak to if this place is "authentic" or not as I have no idea. But I do know that the food is absolutely delicious.A great gem in Riverdale!
