I ordered.... Mac&cheese, fried shrimps, collard greens, fish ( withing ), yams and wingettes. The wingettes (chicken) tasted like fish/shrimp; seafood. The yams was too mushy ( like baby food ), the shrimps were too small ( taste great ) and the greens also taste great but were too leafy. The service was fast; they were polite, & professional. The prices are reasonable and the establishment was clean.
I Use To Come Here All The Time Last Year And The Food Was Good I Order 3 Plates For $52 Today (On Easter Sunday) And All My Food Is Nasty The Noodles In The Mac Aren’t Fully Cooked And The Cheese Is Grainy And Not Melted All The Way, The Yams Aren’t Sweet The Only Thing That Was Okay Was The Fried Chicken And It Tasted Like Oil. Nasty Food On Easter Sunday Is Crazy. They Raised They Prices & Food Got Worst I Do Not Recommend
Excellent experience. Ordered several trays of food for my daughter's going away party. Food was ready for pick up as scheduled. Staff helped me to the car. Food was delish, entire party loved it and it was more then enough to food my guest of 60
I got charged $40 and change for a broiled shrimp dinner and 16pcs all broiled shrimp. The price I was charged doesn’t reflect the prices on the menu. ?? just sad. Enjoy the $4 tip??.
I love this place. I've been patronizing them for years and miss their location in Harlem.
Ordered catfish and yams and greens. Catfish was pretty decent, but I could've made better. Yams and greens were better. Might give this place another try and order something else even though I love my catfish!
This is the best soul food restaurant in NYC hands down. Very clean, customer service is A1 they never have an attitude and the food is always fresh with large portions, and it’s affordable!!!
The food is pretty good but they should start accepting cards, it's a inconvenience to have cash all of the time considering that most people seem to carry cards. Also the group of guys standing in front of the store makes you uncomfortable to come into the restaurant at times. Its a restaurant, not a hang out spot or club.
Glad to see a business that was good enough to weather the COVID storm, I had craved some good shrimp
