While the food was good, the customer service was disappointing at best. I was charged a 3% non-cash processing fee. I took issues with the fact the server did not discuss this charge prior to taking payment. She pointed to a small mention on the receipt, which was useless at the time of making payment when I intended to pay using my credit card and could not change my method of payment additionally, I was charged for an item the server did not bring. She refused to refund the money for the item she did not bring out, and instead offered a dessert or another drink (which we did not want or need).

My friend and I arrived around 9:45pm and ordered right away. After about an hour when plates were cleared our server drops the check. He did not ask us if we would like anything else, did not tell us the kitchen was closing, did not offer us another drink just dropped the check. Our server also did not let us know about their non cash fee for using a card to pay. I found this weird because as a server you should let the guest know and make the aware of the fee. He also added his own gratuity on a 2 people check. I don’t think that was fair because the service received was very cold and unwelcoming.

I’ve been here many times and have always enjoyed the food and service. How ever, this past Monday it was a completely different experience.I had stopped by with my girlfriend for Happy hour and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We started by ordering drinks and appetizers, the server who did not mention her name, came back to our table and had to ask for our order again. When the food came out they brought us two of the same appetizer which we did not ask for. It was taken back.The food was good as usual, we ordered the mini mofongos, empanadas & beef sliders.Over all service was lacking, later on we received our bill and I noticed we got charged for both appetizers(mini mofongo) which we only ordered one. I waived down another server because I could not find our current server. He stated “ she didn’t remove it because you got another drink” which coming from a restaurant background that is not an ok method as that can mess up inventory levels on the back end etc. just isn’t right. I explained to the server that it just doesn’t make sense being that there still is a price difference Happy hour drink$5 - mini mofongo $10. He took the bill back which turned into a huge delay, the servers did not have any sense of urgency in correcting our bill. A gentleman 10 minutes later came to the table looking a bit confused, I simply stated is there an issue? We are waiting for our bill to get adjusted. The new bill arrives I proceeded with payment. When the receipt came I noticed a Non cash charge of $2 and some change which I’ve never seen before at this restaurant. Is this something new?this should also be stated somewhere for guest to be aware of. Over all the experience wasn’t pleasant. I’m not sure if the service team was having an off day because there wasn’t much traffic on a Monday but they should definitely be retrained in certain areas.On another note,What is your gratuity policy? Is it standard now to add a 15% charge for a party of 2?I just wanted to give my feed back being that I’ve never had a bad experience at your location. Have a great day.

They can't handle a holiday event, such as Valentine's Day. After waiting a long time, the food was cold, lobster was dry and drinks were not strong enough. They had a simplified menu that they couldn't deliver. This was a first time visit and last time visit. Casa Del Mar is Casa Del No Mar. Second set of food to come out: my husband's food wasn't what he ordered. The lobster is dry, no butter offered,, steak is bland, no steak sauce offered and veggies were cold. Biggest regret. The restaurant LOOKS beautiful but that's where it ends. I wish I could put no stars.

I came to try this restaurant as I love seafood and asked my husband to bring me here. It was a dinner to cheer me up since I was just layed off from my job. For appetizer I order the stuffed clams there was no taste and it did not taste like clams at all. My husband ordered the appetizer mofongo and they were so hard and cold like if they just threw the chicken on top and was pre-cooked for days. We had hopes that the main course would be better. Again a failed his mashed potatoes were cold had to ask the waiter to heat it up and when the guy from the kitchen brought it to us he looked upset.My main dish was the lobster rib-eye and shrimps again no taste at all. Is very unfortunate that this restaurant is just pretty but the food is not great. Will never comeBack definitely first and last time .

Service was good. Family liked their food. Drinks were great. Only thing is the coconut shrimp and calamari appetizers were not good (calamri tough to chew, and shrimp was a little hard maybe frozen?) Otherwise, everyone else in the party had no complaints.

The food was good but a little skimpy. I ordered a seafood soup and it was no where near the brim. The drinks were ok. The prices have gone up but that's everywhere. I was a little surprised when they added a 3% surcharge for using a credit card along with a built in gratuity of 18%.

Food was amazing can’t wait to go back
