0 stars, worst place ever. Order something that is clearly on the menu, they gave me the menu and it was there, waiter, which was VERY rude said they didn’t serve that, told her it was on the menu and showed her. She gave me attitude and walked away. Later on she came over and asked if we wanted the rest of our food to go, mind you we were in the middle of eating…. Why are we being rushed ? And what’s with the attitude DO NOT RECOMMEND
This was the worst service I ever had.I’m not coming back to this place. The waitress was so mad because I was asking some questions about the dishes. And she dropped our food at the table never come back to ask how we were doing and she just came back to ask us if we wanted the check. And she was unpleasant throughout out meal. Just horrible service through and through and didn’t deserve the 18% tip they were charging for!
Update 2022They really improved things. The Caribbean chicken is still good but they're using smaller pieces then they used to. The rice with pigeon peas is excellent. Service is a lot better. The beef stew is soft now but it doesn't have a lot of vinegar like carribean food usually does.update 9/2019My last 3 delivery experiences were terrible. I received plaintain raw still part pink inside, i eat green Banana (guinero) often this times it seems like it was slow cool boiled not water. I requested garlic for the tostones when I recieved my delivery I was told I had to pay $1 for that. Why not just charge it as a side. Plus I only needed 1 which would have been .50 cents. the meat was excellent. I think the issue is on Sundays Mexican workers may mot be familiar with caribbean cuisine. Its an issue in a lot of Dominican places in the Bronx, Sunday food is not as good. There is a smart mouth Dominican guy every time I speak with him I know there is going to be a problem. I called to check of my order was received he could have just told me to come down with an extra dollar. I locked myself out accidentally to get the food they never ring a bell no matter how much the tip or how many parking spaces. the tostones were replaced with more raw and oily soggy plantain.Nicer atmosphere than many for dinner to sit in. But like most food is a a little inconsistent. Today my half roasted chicken is usually dry. Today it was not. My experience is to avoid the beef guisado... dry. I often get the caribbean chicken. Its usually the safest consistency. Better than Steven's (sorry).UPDATE: 11/13/18 I appreciate the owner response. I look forward to going there more and trying more food. I had stopped going there for like a year. So maybe everything not just the chicken has improved. I look forward to changing this review in the near future...now that I have had 2 great dishes recently.
This Latin Caribbean Restaurant and Grilled cooks very good and the place is very clean we got very good service there even a bar ?to order drinks

When I visit this restaurant, I always enjoy delicious food and attentive service. My friends and I enjoy eating there when we're together. I live in the neighborhood. Don't miss it! You won't regret it.
Great place always consistent. Mofongo is so moist and well seasoned. Oxtail stew is so flavorful. Go to restaurant when in the Bronx.
I ordered delivery at this place but received my order incomplete, but that was not my problem. My problem was the way it was handled. First they hanged the phone on me while I was waiting for some answers. Then when I called again, the manager (a male) was very rude and disrespectful and then his solution to “my problem” (caused by their careless way of handling the food) was (drumrolls): me order and pay again and then cancel once I receive the food. Did you understand that logic? Ok neither did I. thank you, next!
Every time I come here it’s always very disappointing. I must admit I am picky and precise when ordering. My order is hardly ever right. If your not paying attention you as the customer will be losing out. What always brings me back is the amazing food and how warm and cozy it is with beautiful decor but your unprofessional, slow and overly loud staff needs additional training!!!! Pay attention to the customer and there needs and wants we are spending our money. Where is the manager here? Get it together!!!I can’t say I won’t be back just not in the morning.
