My first impression when walking into this establishment was very beautiful and well kept.The place was not busy, I am sure is because of the beautiful weather and everyone was either at the beach or enjoy this wonderful weather else where.The wait staff sat us down, we was greeted properly, the staff was accommodating through out the visit (with child). We was greeted by the own who was present and very attentive and welcoming. The place had a very good family atmosphere and comfort to it that was great for the area. The food came out fresh and hot.The menu was simple and not overwhelming. The food was fantastic..I totally will return and recommend this place if you are looking for a restaurant to dine with family that is well kept great setting, very good food..
I usually use them for catering which is always a great experience. Food is always delicious and delivered on time.I brought my wife to enjoy some dinner. We were not disappointed. Appetizers were delicious. I had the dry aged rib eye which I loved, my wife had a pasta dish with plenty of seafood she enjoyed every bite.
The house bread smell so good you are almost force to order, is a soft and crusty thing layer, full of flavor. The Ginger and carrot soup was the best I tried before. But the meatball wasn't good at all, or at least no for my taste. Will come back for the eggplant Parmigiano.
Awful experience! The food made me very sick. Nauseous & vomit all night & thru next day. They overcharged us as well. I should gotten a credit for such bad undercooked food! We will never go back again! Disrespectful owner!! Ugh
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. We started ordering from here at the start of the pandemic and we’re so happy they never closed. The chicken hero, side of shrimp, side salad, large salad, and stuffed mushrooms are some of our favorites. I’m in love with their creamy balsamic dressing and focaccia. I also like the rewards program from ordering online. I highly recommend this restaurant!
2.5 stars. It’s sincerely hit or miss. By far my favorite pizza spot in this neighborhood. The pizza on a good day is PHENOMENAL and can rival any “best nyc pizza” spot…. But then we have nights like last night when they disrespectfully sent me a clearly twice reheated pizza that was made most likely last week. Do not do that. Do not sit there and sell old food at full price. Donate your food to a pantry for those in need, but if I pay you damn near $30 for pizza I expect it to be fresh. Disappointed. It’s behavior like this that lowers the standard. Sincerely miss living in Long Island in moment like this. Hit or miss.
My boyfriend and I went for lunch today, The service was bad with average food and very much over priced. And worst of all we are vaccinated and the server/host didn’t ask us or anyone for vaccination card, so unsafe.
Excellent selection and delicious food. Loved eggplant lasagna. A nice touch was ACDC music selection ;)
Bella Notte is a NYC gem, pure and simple. I've eaten there many times and remain astonished that every dish, from traditional pasta to complex dishes, from classic Neapolitan to Northern Italian, has been flawless, delicious, ample and expert. And reasonably priced. This place is too good to be believed. Really. In a world of chi-chi pizzas, Bella Notte's classic New York pie is astonishing for the freshness of its ingredients, its flawless crust and perfect hand and palate. As good a traditional NY pizza as I've had in 50 years, that's right, 50 years! Perfect. Another favorite is the "humble" eggplant parmigiana. At Bella Note the eggplant is sliced paper thin, virtually unbreaded, lightly but deliciously sauced, with excellent mozzarella, a revelation (and I love the usual heavily breaded and sauced thick versions you usually find!), The Bella Notte one kills them all. I only hope that NYers flock there given the rapacious commercial rents on Johnson Avenue in Riverdale. This place SHAMES the Manhattan wannabes and exorbitant prices. Great sea food, pasta. If Bella Notte was in Manhattan it would put other joints out of business. BRAVO!
