It's interesting because all the company did was move down the block and everything has changed. The ambiance is more modern and has more of a bar feel than a restaurant which I love but the food isn't as good as it used to be as when it was at the original location. The staff is still friendly but the drinks are extra watered down and the food isn't as tasty as it used to be.
Went to check out the new location. Food was decent. Our first waitress was nice. The environment was good up until the manager changed the music and the environment became hostile. There were men at the bar harassing women, they looked homeless and manager just watched and did nothing. There were kids in the area and we were worried a fight would break out from the bar. They raised the music so loud, we couldn't hear ourselves talk to each other. We wound up just staring at our phones trying to eat and leave. It's not the welcoming Applebee's environment, feels more like a cafeteria. Our second waitress had a bit of an attitude, snatched and tossed a couple of things to our table. Don't expect much else except food and drink, nothing family friendly, but it's the Bronx/Washington Heights any way.
Nice dinner with family. Service was excellent, so was the food. Best value is the Pick 2. Portions are the same size as if you bought them individually.
I am Mr. Alex Carrasco. I begun eating at Applebee's restaurant bar of 02/19/2018 . I ordered zesty ranch chicken sandwich , Macaroni and cheese and Stella beer. Were very good meal. I have have went again of 03/03/2018 I have same meal. Again of 03/12/2018 I have same sandwich I have different drink I have Pepsi I have different second side order I have freedom fries. Again ,again I was on 08/18/2021 ate triple chocolate melt with Pepsi soft drink soda. Today is 12/23/2021. Yesterday , I has ordered same triple chocolate melt with Pepsi soft drink soda. Is fine. Disliked I has no racial and s'ethnic discernment...! To webmaster.
This was the first time eating dining outside at Applebee's and it was a good experience (though it was a bit chilly). Just ss if I was inside, my party of four were well catered to. The food was great, and we were all happy. I recommend visiting this location.
I’m writing this while I’m still sitting at their table! So far I’ve been sitting here for 14mins. When I first sat down my table was a bit sticky so I asked for them to wipe it down… I heard the waiter say out loud that “she didn’t even know she had a table over there”So I ate! And I was really contemplating if I was going to write this review but I have to ! Worst customer service ever!!!!!!! And I mean worse!! These employees have no direction. I’m really over it… why did I wait 12mins to pay my bill I should have walked out! And I can hear them in the back playing and telling jokes!

Waitress was nice, food was low quality but tasted good which is to be expected. Gotta nice little headache going from all the preservatives and chemicals in the food. Havent had applebees in awhile but they're basically a sitdown restraunt with SAD fast food quality.
Decent food bad selectio for drinking ,short staff making everything slow. I really hope they come back to the good years
Maybe because it was later in the afternoon but, the place was a bit disorganized. Specifically, it took us about 15-20 minutes to figure out what was part of the happy hour and what wasn't, parts of our order were forgotten and our table was sticky (even though we got an explanation for it). I'll still go back at least once more, to see if this was a fluke or not.
