This place is home for me. I live in Florida now and whenever there is a holiday I order for my senior parents. They make sure the food is phenomenal each and every time and each customer experience is consistent and just pleasant. Thank you for helping me place my order all the way from Florida for my parents in the Bronx. Best Italian food in the bx hands down!
When Pop was there the pizza was spot on! The crust was soft and crunchy, and the sauce was tasty and delicious. After pop left, pizza not so good. Went there last week, they hired a new guy to make the pies. He is cheap on the sauce. If I was blindfolded, I wasn’t sure what I was eating. This used to be my spot when I didn’t feel like cooking…..NOW, Not so much! Very sad
I couldn’t even make out what slime was covering my salmon. Absolute waste of money. The rawness and stench of the salmon before we even opened the bag was offensive. Even the baked Zita ordered as the side was inedible. It tasted burnt or simply overcooked. We had to throw our entire dinner away.
My wife and I were out all day and didn't eat yet.... we got to Anthony and Sal's around 6:45??.. very hungry...the wife got 1 slice with extra cheese mushrooms and pepperoni...I got one regular slice...it was so good... the wife says we are going back...
I’m a lifelong customer. Best pizza I’ve ever had. What makes it better is seeing and talking to Anthony, Sal and the rest of the guys that have been with them for years. Thank you guys!!!
The WORST customer service!!!First the delivery guy calls when he's leaving the restaurant because HE doesn't want to wait downstairs. Then when I tell him he can come upstairs when he gets here because I already went down and waited when he said he was there, he says he doesn't know what we're going to do because he doesn't come upstairs. I explained that I am at work and can't stand downstairs waiting. He should have called when he got here and I would have met him downstairs.Called the "restaurant" and they were more rude than him. When I explained what happened he said "So? You need to wait until he gets there. There's no parking over there." I HAD waited downstairs for at least 5 minutes before going back upstairs, calling the driver and then calling the restaurant. There was PLENTY of parking right in front! Not even the point. He was VERY NASTY!!! Told me they don't come upstairs. First of all, I ordered from Grubhub (as I do quite often) and they DO come upstairs. If their driver doesn't, there was NO notation on their Grubhub that they don't. TERRIBLE experience!!On top of all of that, the food was a disgusting mess! Burnt dry chicken and mushy penne. Waste of time and money. NEVER AGAIN!
Bad— The pizza was unbelievably salty. I downed almost a liter of H2O since I took a bite. I couldn't even finish a slice! And THAT... never happened before. Yikes!
I’m so glad this place is still going strong, I’ve been coming to them for over 20 years and all the items are still just as good as when I first tried them years ago. I’ve ordered carry out and had them cater events and everything has always been amazing. The pizza here is probably top 5 in the Bronx. Other menu items are delicious as well. I love the wings, garlic knots, and the ziti. Prices are super affordable. I hope this place stays in business forever!!
Excellent service, all that was needed was included for our staff to enjoy, Primo pizza, fresh and yummy. Fast deliveryman. Will be returning for back for more. Thank you. Keep up the Great job Mr. Anthony
This is my all time favorite pizza shop. I’ve been a customer for over 20 years (maybe 30 years)
