Great little hole in the wall spot. Food is delicious even though it’s all mostly made in batches. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant can get very busy in surges. Ive had a bunch of different things there and it’s all been good. Favorites so far are Ruhi fish curry and a special young goat biryani. Recommend

Food is absolutely delicious. Order on Uber many times. Glad I finally came in person. Strong language barrier but nothing a little patience

Food is delicious and quick. Very tasty and the tables are always crowded for those who sit inside. A great Bangladeshi restaurant. I even see Arabs and African-Americans eating here.

Food Quality is awesome.Parking is a little problem.Behaviour is so nice.Went there for the first time...the food was too good.Teas are good as well.Price is not bad at all.For curry they charge maybe little too much, but still worth it.Gets packed in the noon time.

It’s hard to find a good Bangladeshi restaurant where all of the items are good. But this restaurant speaks otherwise. I love all their food. Specially Polau Roast and bhortas. One thing I think you have high potential is to amp up your ambiance. I hope the owner reads what I’m about to say- I would love to bring my non bengali co-workers and friends to eat here. But with the ambiance I can’t. On the other hand the new Premium Sweets (Dhaka and Canada version) in Jamaica don’t have food as good as yours but I’ll take my friends there because that could give a clean representation of my country. Please please please make your restaurant look more presentable. You guys have the potential that many don’t have.

Best Bangladeshi restaurant in New york if not in United states… Their food quality is really amazing, “Biriyani”, “Bihari Kabab”, “Kaliza Singara” are most popular items to try. Price is also inexpensive compared to other Bangladeshi restaurnats nearby. Highly Recommended.

I always buy the same thing from them. Every week at least once I go there to buy that (between $30-$70 I spent every time). I live far but still come there to buy coz everyone in my family love it. The staff was very rude today. Bought some chicken and tandoori naan. Asked for the sauce. They only gave me 2. Asked them to give me 1 more. But they said they don’t have enough. I requested if they can give me 1 as I really love that sauce. They explained as shortage. Which is understandable (coz they have to sell and with that they have to give sauce). But then they said, if I pay $1 then they can give me 1 extra. I was like “seriously?? Aren’t you gonna get shortage if you give me 1”. So they could not spare 1 to me as of shortage but could sell me 1 for a dollar. Asked them “aren’t you gonna be short if you sell me 1 extra” but they were okey with it to sell. I said I don’t need it and offer them to keep the 2 they gave me. If anyone need extra, they can give those. They put it back in my bag. I throw away those sauce in the garbage in the store in front of them. And I told them, just for a dollar, you now lost a customer for life.Their behavior made me mad coz I wanted a reasonable answer. They could not spare me 1 but could sell me. That triggered me so bad. That was very poor service. Not going to buy there anymore. Hope the owner of Al Alqa is reading this! Losing a customer may not effect the business. But I stand my point. I can always buy from other. There are so many food store near there. Khalil Biryani, Khalil Chines, Nirob, Premium sweets all are there. Not only that, I won’t buy anything from Al Asqa Grocery as well. My family grocery shopping store was Al Asqa. But from now on, I will go to Ittadi to buy my monthly grocery. $1 sauce cost them so much now.

Best food that you can have! Sad part is there dining facility is not that great. Specially meant for takeouts. So won’t complain about that. But food is incredible! Nothing beats there spice combinations

Rotten Roshogolla. Very disgusting. Why would they serve rotten desserts?

This place has become an embarrassment. I ordered chicken biryani and got nothing but rice. I specifically asked if the chicken roast was fresh before purchasing and was told it was. I came home and the chicken roast smells like it was cooked a week ago! This is not the first time I've experienced this here, they continuously do this and just don't seem to care. To add on, these guys aren't even wearing a mask. They are simply hanging it below their chin while having conversations in front of the food they serve us. I will never return here again.
