We had a great dining experience at Social on State out on the back patio. Perfect evening. The service was outstanding, not rushed, yet attentive. The food was awesome, piping hot. I have not been disappointed in anything on the menu and nice to see every once in awhile there are changes. Still a great place to dine out but the parking.... and that road construction.....

The food was excellent. We enjoyed everything. All the dishes we ordered contained all of my favorite things. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, Pork belly skewers, burrata salad, and the salmon stuffed avocado. I don't eat salmon, but my husband does. There wasn't very much salmon in the dish, that would be my only negative comment. Our server Chloe was very attentive and very considerate. When she found out we wanted to sit outside, she offered to clean a table and move us. The music and crowd inside were too loud for me! She changed my entire experience with her caring. I recommended it 2x since we left and will again every chance I get.
Overall Very good, delicious food, some hit a little better than others. Overall loved the veggie options and mock tails as my date does not drink alcohol. Pleasant and informative server who answered our inquiries. Will definitely put on list of spots to come back to to try out the seasonal specials.
Another fabulous experience! we had Lobster Mac and cheeseð, the clams and chorizo with garlic toast special and the tuna stacker...delicious food, and wonderful service!!!

We always have a great dining experience here and would highly recommend. I do like how the menu is varied periodically and they keep the selections to a nice manageable choices. But this time I stood at the hostess stand for over 10minutes with various staff walking passed me without a word, like "Someone will be right with you" or "I'll have your table ready in about ___ minutes" or some sort of dialog. Yes I see everyone was busy and it appeared short on staff, I do understand, but to be ignored was not like Social and their way of pleasant greetings. Crazy with the road construction and parking. Since it is daylight late, I don't mind walking several blocks alone later in the evening. If COVID didn't negatively affect their business, this infrastructure repair could. I would highly recommend this restaurant even though parking can be an issue.
I’ve yet to have a bad meal! The outdoor seating area is cozy! Drinks, outstanding!!
This was a taste extravaganza! We were just passing through town, but found this on Yelp and were in the mood for Tapas. It was a little hard to get to (the GPS took us to the next street, probably because State street was under construction), and then of course we had to find (free) parking. But once inside, it was such a cool vibe. Their craft drink list was superb. My boyfriend and I each had one (I can't recall what the names were, although his was a take on a whiskey sour), and they were excellent. We ordered the Arugula Burrata salad, which was delicious (I was sad when it was over), Asparagus fries (think Asparagus tempura and you'd be very close), and the meatballs. All excellent! And when we have excellent food, we must order dessert, so we tried their take on pineapple upside down cake, only it was a trifle! If you like pineapple, you will love it -- light and fluffy and pineappley! Excellent service, genuinely friendly, and very cool vibe. Highly recommend it!
